Seven months later;
Stella recovered, and started to practice the sport of taekwondo. She even wants to develop her boxing skills at the gym.
Her body was changed, her muscles got bigger than normal for a female wolf. She has been the school representative to fight taekwondo in international school competitions. She got more medal awards, and her Aunt Marie was happy to see her like this.
Marie decides to never ask about that night again, yet she's waiting for Stella to tell her somehow. For now, as long as Stella is safe and healthy.
Stella made her own plans to meet the man who pretended to be the Alpha that night. And the first thing she can do is get the attention of all the officials in the pack. For that, she can easily smell it and remember his appearance.
Until the time comes..
Stella is invited to a fight to be held in the underground. The official underground of the pack house, exclusive for training and gatherings.
When she stood in the ring with the host, she couldn't smell the man she had longed to be close to. So she became persistent in fighting her opponent. But to her surprise, her opponent today.. is a girl.
The girl named Abby Jezz, knows nothing about the sports she is passionate about. She was right. Because Jezz herself even told her... that she didn't want to fight to hurt her.
Stella laughed at herself, not for her. But for many betrayals of someone around her. Seems like all of the officials have their hidden agenda, and they cannot be trusted.
However, she gave Jezz a punch to make their fight look real in front of the officials.
For her, this fight must go on. This was the first steps to meet the man who abused her and the key to getting information about who killed her mother.
When the battle began, her victory was near when the familiar smell suddenly entered. This is what Stella felt around her. But she couldn't tell who it was because she was busy in the middle of the ring.
At the same time, she was hit by a one-shot punch from Abby Jezz Urdanzo and she was thrown out of the ring, again. Stella did not expect that strength. Her heart almost breaks now when she thinks that Abby Jezz is the winner in the fight over her.
Her attention was fully snatched by that scent!
She looked around, carrying the pain as she tried to stand up. But she hadn't seen anyone, except the officials of the White Stone pack. Because of it, her plan was ruined and covered by hatred. So the fight ended and she failed.
Abby Jezz is harmless but she's a threat to her plans. Now that she wins the fight Richard might choose her as Luna. She must find her way to make Abby Jezz disappear in this world.
One morning, Stella woke up in her bed. She looks out the window and the sun is already up. Then she turns her gaze to the table near her bed. She grabs the frame and talks to the picture of her mom while she holds it tightly.
"Mom, sorry, I can't move on... I missed you so much. I need you.... I love you, Mom. Stella says. She wipes her tears slowly.
Then she put it back in the same place.
Stella is thinking of finding a way to look for Abby Jezz. It's a challenging task for her. Because she had no such information about Abby Jezz. And she must do it in her own way.
Until she got a bright idea to rummage through Marie's room to find records or files, but she didn't find anything. She waited for an opportunity to get Marie's phone, just in case the answers were there.
"Stella, do you want to eat something?"
Marie asks while Stella plays a game on her phone.
"I just want egg soup," she said intentionally.
"Alright sweety, I will prepare it for you." Then Marie proceeds to the kitchen to cook.
After that, Stella had the opportunity to take Marie's phone from her bag hanging on the wall. When she got it, she immediately went outside and read the contents of the inbox on Marie's phone one by one.
That's where Stella got the contact number of the Alpha's son.
It was Richard's number.
Richard texted Marie the day he was with Abby Jezz on his way to the White House. And based on the date and time, it's the day they fought in the ring. The conversation has the name of Abby Jezz talking about what school she is studying. That's the right opportunity, and then she saves it to her phone. Then Stella returned the phone to Marie's bag.
"Wow, thank you, Aunt Marie." Stella says as she walks to the kitchen, as if she doesn't do anything.
"You're welcome! Here... your egg soap."
Marie placed a bowl of soup on a table, and Stella sat on it with a smile. But suddenly, Stella heard a ring from the main door. The same as her Aunt Marie.
"Oh, that was Richard, I think. Stay here. I must talk to him for a while. Enjoy the soup" Marie says this and leaves Stella in the kitchen.
In a few minutes. Marie returned to the kitchen.
"What is it?" Stella asked.
"He told me that I will meet a VIP man this evening for a meeting. He talked about how to handle it since this customer is a big boss from the other city. He wanted me to be extra careful. Just like that."
"Do you want to go with me?"
"No. Stella. Just stay here besides, these few days I can sense that someone is watching this house even in the daylight."
Stella got confused. "How do you know that? I mean, I can't sense anyone around"
"That's why I installed three more cameras in the front and five at the back. If you wanna see it. You can check the archive, but make sure that the basement is locked. This house is not easy to get in, but there is a way and we both know that..."
"Alright Aunti.. " Stella nodded.
Marie says her goodbye and leaves after that.
Now Stella starts her search for Abby Jezz on social media. She has to find her, whatever it takes.
In the evening,
Stella felt different, something was bothering her and she couldn't even sleep.
Then.. she suddenly remembers her worst night. The night that someone r***d her, it's embarrassing!
But soon she realized, how that experience makes her strong. She totally changed after all. And that night.. the man who touched her lips.. that moment is actually a gentle way.. The hand started to crawl down in her chest and remove her clothes.
Now she remembered him saying, "if you want revenge, come to me.. I will wait for you.." After that the man continued kissing her.
Stella leaves the house that night, finding something.. in searching for that man for her revenge. Even if she doesn't know where to start.
For the final decision she follows Marie. Marie was not telling her the truth, Stella knows that. She can say that by looking in her Aunt's eyes.
Marie entered the hotel in the city with the other two staff. While Stella just came from a short ride of motorbike. She hides herself, standing in front of the convenience store, watching and waiting..
In a couple of minutes, a car arrives, and someone gets out of the car to open the door from the other side. She saw Richard come out, so it's true.
At that time, she saved the plate number of the car on her phone. Then she returned home. So that Marie would not notice that she was not home by that time.
Stella’s shoes slowed her steps against the pavement, the quiet street too long and empty. The night air pressed in around her, thick with the faint hum of insects, but the next is.. a scent.
A familiar male scent.
Her wolf stirred instantly, rising like a warning growl beneath her skin.
Stella stopped.
The sleek black car idled a few meters ahead, its engine didn't on. One window was rolled down, as if it was waiting for her to close.
Inside the car, a man was silently sitting there...he didn't come out.
Stella's fingers curled slightly, nails pressing into her palms as heat flickered under her skin, her wolf is eager, ready to tear him alive, she wanted to finish him, that's what she had waited for too long.
Then the door opened.
The man stepped out.
Stella blinked.
He wasn’t what she had built in her mind all these months. Not older, not worn down like guilt should have made him. He looked… steady. Maybe late thirties, early forties, but strong. Controlled in his posture. And his eyes...
Her breath hitched. There was something in them. Not fear. Not arrogance. Something that made her wolf go still.
“Get inside,” the man said.
