Mom enters the room right behind Marvin. She said, "Tagi asked to leave, she said she would buy the materials that would be needed in school projects, on the subject of TLE."
Oh, I forgot! The deadline is on Monday. Maybe I could help her later, when I feel better.
"Marvin, she can't go on like this. I can't bear to see her suffering this way." Mom says.
"Our bond is extremely strong." Marvin tells her.
"Marvin, don't leave.." I pleaded with a scratchy voice. I raise my head and look into his eyes. I was about to cry.
"I won't. I can't. I need you as much as you need me." Marvin tells me as he cups my face with his hand. I close my eyes and nuzzle into his embrace.
