Alpha Marvin coughed weakly, his lips moving as if to form words, but nothing came out. Only a faint sound, like the sigh of a dying flame. “Luna…” he gasped, the name barely a whisper. “Protect them…” And then his hand fell... limp. I froze. No sound. No heartbeat. Just the hollow thud of my own despair. Tears blurred my vision, and my body trembled uncontrollably, with pain creeping into every breath I took. All around me, the others stood in silence, their eyes cast down, too shattered to utter a word. Tagi limped toward me, her neck still bruised from Nyrah’s grip. “She’s gone,” I murmured, glancing at the forest’s edge. “She took her army with her… for now.” I looked at the dark horizon, where Nyrah had vanished into the shadows. The night itself seemed to tremble at her name
