BRIELLE As I came into the hall, my soul was deafeningly quiet. My gaze was drawn involuntarily to the painting on the wall, as it always was. When my eyes fixed on them, my feet followed suit, walking gently to allow my eyes to enjoy the moment of staring at the painting.
