— The Forest — Marking the trees she came across, Judy was able to find her way in that forest but the problem now was that she had no idea where she had to go nor what she was looking for. True, marking her way out was helping her out but it was all it was doing for now. She had no idea in which direction she had to go. Hearing something she stopped moving and examined her surroundings. Again, she heard the bushes shuffle one more time “what was that?” she was on her guard but it did not serve much as she was pounced on from behind. The weight and surprise made her fall on her stomach. “what’s happening? ” she had no time to understand anything that she was immediately dragged on the ground. Judy turned herself to see those attacking her, they were small individuals... If you could call them that. They were of small height, even five years old were taller then them! Their skin was darker and their face could not be seen. They were wearing wooden masks with three to four long green leaves each. The masks they had white lines and points at the borders. They were holding long wooden spears in a hand while the other was holding their prey down and they were a lot! Kicking the ones holding her down she freed herself, got up and started running. Not looking where she was going but only glancing behind her from time to time to see if her assailants where following her, Judy bumped into something... Or someone. It was a torso. Rubbing the pain off her nose she glanced up and was stupefied by what she saw. “ah! Judy, there you are! I was looking for you!” the man said grabbing her by the wrist and pushing her to follow him. She felt like she knew him, but the thing was, she never saw him before... Did she? “who are you and what is the meaning of this?” the confusion was visible on her face. “Judy it’s me! Clay!” he said, over joyed and excitement in his voice. “what...” Judy was out of words, what was happening in this forest, first a tribe of weird looking small people had attacked her, now this? The man in front of her who was still holding her wrist had the wolf’s dark grey hair indeed, as well as his grey eyes, but apart from that, there was no resemblance whatsoever and the said ressemblance was only in colour. She was questioning everything that was folding before her eyes when suddenly Clay in human form turned into wolf Clay and chains appeared from nowhere to restrain him. He started shouting, moving recklessly wanting to free himself. Once he was bound to the ground his figure began turning to dust and fading into thin air. “this is all your fault! You left me to die! You’re useless!” the wolf was shouting, moving and struggling to be free. She ran to him to help free him but it was no use. “no, no that’s not true” she was convincing herself while tears were rushing down her cheeks. Falling on her knees and holding tight on the wolf she was begging him to not disappear and leave her alone in this forest. Witnessing all this, Judy was devastated, she watched him disappear completely with his voice echoing with the wind. He was right, she was useless, it was her fault if he was suffering like that. All she had to do to help him was find his pack, which she did not find even after a couple of days traveling, she felt so weak. “no! That’s not true! “ “You know it's not true! Clay needs me! This can not be him! He is safe back in the well! Yeah” she convinced herself. Clay would never say all these hurtful things to me she thought “YOU HEAR THAT FOREST?” Judy shouted her lungs out making birds and such fly away in surprise. “YOU CAN’T FOOL ME!” Unable to hold her feelings any longer she shouted as loud as she could with her eyes closed, she was certain there was something wrong with this forest! At the same time a light grew in her chest until it became blinding and engulfing her whole. The next time she opened her eyes, she was still in the cave she had spent the night in. “it was all a dream” she told herself.
