His fingertips trailed to her clit brushing it slightly. “I would have loved to be a pilot but I have to fulfill my responsibilities as the future alpha. Running a pack is almost the same as running a company.”
“It sounds impressive because you have done a great job in this pack. But it must be tiring.” She breathed out.
Carl chuckled softly. “Tiring? My life is here. My body, soul and heart is here with the pack and members.”
Her fingers still trailed up and down his chest. “But don’t you get tired?” Meagan stopped the movement to look at him.
Carl considered her question. “To be honest, I like my life. And if I don’t like my life, I still can’t change the fact that I am an alpha because I was born into a long lineage of full blooded wolves.”
