Chapter 31 Wanting more of her

TWO HOURS LATER
At 2:30 am, Meagan opened her eyes. She lifted her head and locked gaze with Carl.
“You weren’t sleeping?” She rubbed her sleepy eyes.
“I woke up not too long.” Carl whispered.
“Okay. I’ll be right back.” Meagan slipped out of bed, all naked and she could feel his eyes on her as she walked into the bathroom to pee.
Carl was sitting up on the bed, a lazy smile on his face when she came back into the room.
“What?” Meagan smiled when he didn’t stop staring at her.
“I am just staring at a beautiful being.” He answered.
A red color fanned her cheeks. Meagan laughed as she lay her head down on the pillow. He rested on one raised elbow and reached out to remove strands of hair from her face.
