It’s Monday morning madness. The kids are upstairs getting ready for school and arguing about who’s going to use the bathroom first. Maddi takes forever in the bathroom and Andy likes to get dressed and sorted at lightning speed so he can get downstairs and watch a cartoon or two while he eats his breakfast.
I’m rushing about still wearing my pjs as I slept through my alarm and am now trying to get packed lunches sorted but have nothing to put in the lunchboxes because I didn’t get a chance to get fruit and lunchbox snacks on my way home last night.
My head is all over the place and I can’t seem to focus on anything but the glorious weekend I had just spent with Fred.
After managing to scrounge together two pitiful packed lunches, I manage to make myself a coffee before heading upstairs to dress myself and get ready to take the kids to school. I carry my coffee upstairs and look in on the kids bedrooms, their beds haven’t been made and both rooms look like a tornado has gone through them. I’d usually make them tidy up and make their beds before the school run, but I just don’t have it in me this morning. I give a little shrug of my shoulders and continue into my own disheveled bedroom. I sit on the unmade bed and sip my coffee.
“Ahhh”, I close my eyes for a second of peace and quiet.
The kids downstairs now, making their cereal. I can hear Maddi telling Andy off for using too much milk.
I leave them to sort it out between them.
I look at my travel bag and it instantly transports me back to thoughts of what’d happened this weekend.
I get flashbacks of Fred pushing me back, into the hotel wardrobe while he goes down on me, how he worked his tongue and his fingers, oh my world, it was so hot, I could definitely do with a bit more of that treatment.
As my thoughts travel deeper into the moment, I feel a rush of excitement go through me with a desperate urge down in my crotch area, I replay ever touch, every sensation through my mind.
“Ah....yes!” I say to myself quietly.
Suddenly a loud thud brings me back to reality, I hear the kids, Andy is crying and Maddi is complaining profusely in her high pitched and annoyed tone of voice, “I didn’t even do anything to you!”
Andy shouts out for me, “muuum! Maddi punched me!”
I take a deep breath, roll my eyes and resign myself to the facts. I say to myself, “I need to stop daydreaming now and get a move on. I better get dressed and get these kids to school before they murder each other.”
I put what’s left of my coffee down on the bedside table and breath a big sigh when I get up to carry on with my day.
After the school run, I get home to find the house in a state, I have no idea how these kids managed to muck it up in such a short amount of time, but they do. Before I get to work tidying and cleaning, I get a ‘PING’ notification on my phone. My heart leaps, is it Fred?
I eagerly check, but, no!
It’s only Mags, it’s a voice note,
“Hey sis, what’s up? Hope you got home safe. Give me a call, I want the full lowdown of what happened this weekend”.
