Lucas The rain still hadn’t stopped, leaving everything saturated as I walked the short distance to the packhouse. The sun was still low in the sky, barely peaking through the cloudy sky. I ducked through the door and made my way to my office, pulling my shirt over my head. “Changing in the hallways now?” Jackson laughed as he came from the opposite direction down the hall. “You’re lucky it’s just my shirt,” I smirked at him and opened the door. He followed me in and dropped into a chair as I tossed my shirt aside and grabbed a dry one. “Have you seen Kyle this morning?” I asked, pulling the dry shirt over my head. “He is on his way,” Jackson answered, sipping the cup of coffee in his hand. “Did he tell you Kiara was here last night?” I asked, wondering what happened after I left.
