It had been way too long since we were able to get together and hang out. We all get wrapped up in our daily lives and the chaos that seems to never let up and forget to make time to just chill. Esme had some girls paint thing at her shop so it was the perfect time for us to get together.
I just needed to finalize everything to release Leo tomorrow and he would be moved to Snow Moon. It still didn’t sit right with me, no more than Emily rotting in my jail. But Esme wasn’t just my mate, she was my partner and I needed to respect her thoughts about it too. She was the perfect balance to me, making me stop and think about things before reacting.
