Before I changed my mind which I knew I would because this was the weirdest day of my life, hell, this would be the weirdest day of anybody’s life if they found themselves in my position, I quickly signed, took the needle between my fingers and studied the gold encrusted needle, I had never seen one of this grandeur before, it was positively inviting and without a second thought I pricked my forefinger with the sharp golden needle and watched as a little blood trickled out and I planted my bloody finger print next to my signature as instructed by Ryker.

I couldn’t describe how I felt next, it was a strange feeling, I had a sudden high of energy, as soon as my blood was planted on the paper, I felt, well I didn’t know how I felt but it was an empowering feeling and before I lost my bottle, I arose from the bed and quickly walked next door, remembering of course to knock on wooden door that was next door to mine, I knocked sharply and quickly and stood there waiting for his majesty to allow me safe passage to the room. 

It felt like I had been stood there ages when I heard a voice boom from inside.

“You may come in Caliana “

I didn’t need to be told twice, I twisted the golden door knob and walked into his bedroom, he was sprawled across the bed with his muscly arms stretched out over his head, half naked with only some black tight shorts, he was bulging out everywhere, a sudden rush of heat came over me, my face felt hot, my whole body turned to jelly, I stepped forward but in my sudden reaction at Rykers appearance I stumbled and the papers flew in a heap on the floor around my feet, I quickly got to my knees trying to pick up all the papers that had flown out of my hands, Ryker watched me intently.

“You really are a clumsy girl Caliana “ 

The way he said my name sent shivers up my spine, it just rolled of his tongue silkily, my name had never sounded so good before.

I raised my eyes till they met his.

“I’m really sorry, I must have butter fingers “I smiled.

He slowly glided off the bed and within seconds was right in front of me knelt on the floor he brushed his fingertips up my arm as I was reaching for another sheet of his ridiculous rules, I froze to the spot, shivers cursed through my veins and once again I became flushed. 

“I really do effect you don’t I? “

I cleared my throat.

“No, I’m just embarrassed at yet another tumble, honestly I’m not usually so clumsy as you so nicely put it moments ago “ 

He arched his eyebrows at me.

“Leave that I will pick it up in a moment, go sit down, it looks like you need to”.

I put the papers I had already gathered in a neat pile in front of him and shakily arose to my feet, wobbling a little, my legs felt so weak like they were going to give way at any moment. 

I lost my balance and almost toppled over but the next thing I knew I was in Ryker’s arms.

I just stared up at him in bewilderment, how was he able to stand and catch me so quickly, his reflexes must be good but that couldn’t be it because I didn’t even see him move, he was knelt on the floor where I had left him and now he stood holding me in his arms, he felt warm and welcoming and just for a second I did what I had never done before, I melted into his body, his warmth filled me whole, I sighed a contented sigh. 

“This feels right “I murmured right before the whole world went dark.

I awoke warm and contented, I remembered stumbling and falling into Ryker’s arms but I had no recollection of what happened next, every time I was near him I felt dizzy like I was drunk, I don’t know if it was his scent, my obvious attraction to him, I wasn’t sure what it was but he was right, he did have an effect on me, one that I wasn’t used to and I didn’t like it because I felt so out of control when I was near him, like a silly school girl, hanging on his every word and falling over my own damned feet.

I stirred and tried moving when I realised there was a set of arms that did not belong to me, I studied my surroundings and noticed that I was still in Rykers room, he was lying right next to me.

I wiped the sleep from my eyes and tried to sit up without disturbing him, I could just slip out and not disturb him, I was not sure what happened last night but what other plausible explanation was there for me still been here in his room with him.

“Welcome back, sleeping beauty “

I jumped, startled by the voice echoing through the room.

I just stared at him.

“Bit jumpy Caliana, don’t worry I don’t bite, not unless you want me to of course “he said to me with a wink.

I got flustered, I could feel the heat creeping up to my face, just as it had done since the first time I laid eyes on him, I cursed my emotions and my body, it failed me and gave me away each time.

“Hmm I don’t really remember but did we “he cut me off before I even had chance to finish what I was saying.

“No Caliana, I prefer my women to be conscious when I make love, and if we had trust me, you wouldn’t ever forget it “

“Unconscious? “

“Yes, when you stumbled and I caught you, you passed out in my arms, so I carried you to my bed and that’s where you stayed all night “

“Oh, I’m sorry I didn’t mean to offend you “

He leaned over and gently touched my face with his fingertips, stroking my cheek lightly, before I knew what was happening my body failed me once more, I closed my eyes and let out a pleasurable moan.

I opened my eyes and there was hunger in Rykers eyes, he looked at me like I was the most appetising dish he had ever had and that only made me worse, I groaned once more.

He came closer to me, his lips were mere inches from mine, I could feel his breath graze my skin.

“If you keep that up, we won’t be leaving this room “

Again, my breath hitched, and I groaned once more.

Ryker in turn, matched my groan except his sounded like a growl erupted from the back of his throat, like an animal, which made me worse, all I could think of is how I would love his lips pressed against mine, how I wanted to taste his sweet lips, I grew hotter and more urgent, I looked at him with hunger and bit down on bottom lip, I didn’t even realise I was doing it, until Ryker teased his fingers across my lips and in a low growl,

“Stop doing that or I won’t be responsible for my actions “

I looked up at him, I bit my lip harder this time,

“Stop doing what?” I asked him innocently.

He did not move, he was trying to control himself, that is what he had been doing this whole time, I realised that now.

I chewed on my bottom lip as I thought this over and before I knew what was happening his lips came crashing down on mine and my entire body shook, it was like an explosion erupted through my whole body, everywhere tingled, his warm hot lips pressed hard against mine and I moaned in his mouth with pleasure.

He quickly moved off me.

“Did I do something wrong? “

He shook his head at me.

“Why did you stop? “ 

He looked genuinely taken aback at my question, but he never answered me.

“Why did you stop Ryker? “I asked again.

“I can’t lose control with you Caliana, I’m sorry I just can’t “

“But I don’t understand isn’t this what you want? “

He shook his head and instantly my world came crashing down around me, of course he did not want this, he had just been lost in the moment, I bit my lip nervously, I felt so stupid, I had made a fool of myself on the first day with him and now I felt stupid.

“You’re doing it again “he growled.

“I’m sorry, I can’t help it “ 

He closed his eyes and rubbed his temples, oh great now I was giving him a headache, I knew this was a bad idea, maybe I should just leave, he had just made his feeling abundantly clear.

He grabbed my lip between his thumb and forefinger and pressed them lightly between my bottom lip.

“These lies of yours are going to get you into a lot of trouble “ 

I smiled at him, a mischievous cheeky smile.

“But if it’s not what you want, these lips of mine should have no effect on you “

He climbed on top of me holding his body weight above me as he stared intently into my eyes.

“I never said I didn’t want it “he growled at me. 

Without a thought in my head, I reached up and brushed my fingertips through his hair, he did not move, I bit down hard on my lip, too hard, a tiny trickle of blood fell from my lip, Ryker’s eyes changed, the hunger in his eyes were back, he lightly brushed his tongue against my lips and tasted the cut I had inadvertently created, and he groaned hard and loud. 

He was not kidding when he said he was adventurous, but I must admit the way he lost control over a simple thing such as me biting my lip was enough to make me go weak at the knees.

       I looked at him intently, at his sudden outburst as what I can only describe as pleasure.

      “what’s wrong Mr cool and collected “I raised my eyebrows at him.

      “You know damn well what’s wrong “he growled at me.

      I shrugged my shoulders, maintaining my innocence, I was not usually so forward and 

      Independent but there was something about him that just brought it out in me.

      I leaned closer to him, and whispered in his ear

      “Have I found your weakness Ryker “ 

He groaned once more, as I nibbled at his ear lobe, I knew I was playing a dangerous game and, in all honesty, I did not know what I was doing, I was just going with the flow which was so unlike me, I never let loose like this usually, but I had to keep going the excitement that built inside of me was simply exhilarating.

“Caliana “he breathed rasping trying to catch his breath.

I did not want to talk anymore and while I had never intended to get physical with Ryker, he was just so damn delicious I could not help myself and I was intrigued why been with him was so unforgettable as he had earlier proclaimed.

“I think we are all talked out “

He looked at me curiously and before he gave me some smart ass comment, I pulled his head close to mine and this time I bit his lip as hard as I could, he whimpered, and then his mouth came crashing down on mine, his sweet kisses, filled my senses, he kissed me with an urgency that I had never experienced before, with each kiss I melted deeper into the mattress, my head felt dizzy and I suddenly had a drunk feeling overcome me, his tongue created electric shocks through my entire body as his tongue connected with mine. He broke the kiss as fast as it had started.

He motioned to a sitting position.

“Where do you think you are going?” I pouted at him.

He shook his head at me.

“Caliana, I told you I don’t want to lose control with you, so it’s best I leave the room “

“But this is your room! You would rather run away from your own room because I’m in it, is that what you’re telling me!”

I was furious and disappointed, it felt like we made a connection or maybe that was just me that felt that way, but to leave his own room just to get away from me was ridiculous, why did he not he just ask me to leave if he did not want me in here, why go through all the trouble of leaving his own room just to get away from me.

“I didn’t say that, you’re twisting my words again “

“I’m twisting your words! “I screamed at him.

“Well make your bloody mind up! A second ago you could not get enough of me and now you would rather run, to get as far away from me as possible.

He sighed a long hard sigh and this time it was not pleasurable, it seemed to be in annoyance of my sudden outburst.

“I’m not trying to get away “

“What are you doing then? “

“I don’t trust myself with you Caliana okay “

“No, it most definitely is not okay! “I screamed once more.

“I don’t know what you want me to say “ 

I crossed my arms like a petulant child.

“Why don’t you say what your best at saying “

“Which is? “ 

“Nothing! “ 

He avoided my question completely but his whole body went rigid and stiff like I had hit a nerve, I had not meant to be mean but blowing hot and cold was starting to become tiresome, and I just did not have the energy to play his game.

“Come on, let us go get breakfast “

“I don’t want breakfast! “

“You must be hungry Caliana “

I licked my lips and ran my fingers across them.

“Why yes Ryker I am hungry “I spoke with a gleam in my eye.

He stood and before he left and we went about our day creating pleasantries probably ignoring the fact of what had almost happened in here, I jumped up before he could reach the door and slid under him, so my back was pressed up against the door.

“What are you doing now “

“If you want to leave, you have to get through me first “

He smiled a wicked smile and with one quick swoop, he picked me up, with his hands still on my buttocks, I squealed with delight.

“You said you was hungry “

“Yes, for you “

Ryker carried me to the bed and launched me on top of it.

“You need to stop playing this game of yours “

“Who said I’m playing “

He turned and I had to think fast before he left so I quickly removed my top and threw it at him, it hit him in the back before falling into a crumpled mess on the floor, he turned and glared at me, then his eyes softened as he looked over my heaving bare breasts, his breath hitched, and his eyes were wild like a crazed animal. 

He threw himself towards me and pinned my arms down with his.

“This is what you want? “

I nodded; I did not want to ruin the moment yet again merely by speaking.

He came closer and smelled my hair.

“You smell so sweet Caliana “

I smiled.

He bit my lip hard, and I cried out.

“This what you want? “he whispered into my mouth, once again I nodded, he gripped the side of my stomach and grazed his nails with my skin and once again a trickle of blood oozed out, he pushed his tongue hard against the graze, lapping the liquid that had spilled out, once again I cried out, louder this time, the mix of pleasure and pain surged through my body, I had never felt such a rush of ecstasy, I didn’t want it to stop.

“This what you want? “

“Yes, yes, this is what I want “I breathlessly told him.

He looked at me curiously, his eyes turned dark, he quickly rose and was at the door before I had a chance to respond.

“Get dressed Caliana, I will see you in the kitchen, your friend probably missed you”. 

He never gave me chance to respond to him, he left and shut the door behind him, I did not get him, I sat there shocked, he had massively turned me on with his adventurous foreplay and then he had just left! How could he just leave me like this! I didn’t understand what I had done wrong and why he would rush to leave his own room and what’s with the control thing, he kept going on about losing control, would it be that bad if he did, in fact I’m sure it would be very fun, no, I couldn’t think like that, what had this man done to my brain, it had turned to squash since I arrived here, my usual train of thought was gone and all I could think about was him, naked, I had to stop, I arose from the bed, picked up my top up off the floor in its crumpled mess and quickly put it back on.
