*BEEP*BEEP*BEEP*

Is all I hear as I’m waking up. My alarm clock reads 5:45am. Truthfully I’m not a morning person, I hate waking up every morning just because they all want their food made and served for them. ‘Grahhhhh it’s morning already?’ Says a voice. It startled me for a moment as I looked around and find no one. “Who said that?” I whispered. ‘I said it. are you that dense? Goddess give me a better human’ complained the voice. I think I’m going out of my mind. Maybe all the abuse has messed me up mentally. I guess I should take a shower and get things done. I want to be out of the house before they wake up! As I got out of bed I walked over to my dresser and picked out a hoodie and yoga pants. I took a shower and washed the sleep from my eyes. Once I finished I checked my wounds and reapplied bandages where needed and headed off to do my chores. My chores often require sweeping and mopping, dusting, dishes, cooking meals and cleaning the bathrooms. I typically save cooking and dishes for last so that the food is still warm when they wake up. I quietly opened the door of my room and cleaned the upstairs bathrooms and cleaned from floor to ceiling. Then I proceeded to do the same downstairs. By the time I finished cooking breakfast and washing all of the dishes it was 7:45am. I don’t have to go to school until noon today thankfully. Maybe I could catch a quick nap in the library before my classes. After I ate I quickly washed my own dishes and did a once over of everything. Once I felt everything looked fine I grabbed my things and headed for the door. As I was closing the door I heard the alarms of their clocks going off. ‘Perfect timing I’d say!’ Commented the voice. At this point it’s started to get on my nerves. “I mean I’m hearing this voice that apparently no one else hears because if anyone else heard it I’d get beat for having someone in my room, god something is seriously wrong with me!” I sighed frustratedly. As I kept ranting I heard a whisper behind me. Only to turn around and see Jess and a group of unfamiliar faces behind her.

Jess’s P.O.V

Waking up this morning I felt like some news was headed our way. I can’t figure out if it’s good or bad but I know it pertains to Graice. After I took my shower I headed downstairs for breakfast. The pack house is pretty quiet this morning which is a little strange if we’re being honest. Rounding the corner to the dining room I run into Daniel. “Morning Danny, up already?” I said sweetly. “Hey Jess! Morning! Uhhh getting breakfast?” He says while scratching the back of his neck. “Yeah! I was heading down now, join me?” I said, almost forgetting how to speak. “Of course! I could eat anything!” He stated. ‘Goddess he can eat me!’ Rayn howled. ‘Stop that for the love of goddess! I can’t take those images!’ She’s always doing this to me! Ever since I was paired with rayn she has been obsessed with Daniel! ‘I am not obsessed! You also fantasize over him!’ Rayn shouts as I block her out. Once we’ve all finished breakfast we head to the training field, it’s always nice to train in the early mornings! I especially love watching Daniel take his shirt of and train with those amazing abs! Daniel is 6’8” with short spiky read hair, he’s very athletic and toned and he’s super hyper! He has one brown eye and one blue eye which looks unique and heavenly with his tanned beautiful skin tone! After completing training the twin gammas as well as the future beta and alpha strode over to me. “Ready for school?” Asked Hayden. Hayden is the future gamma, he has short curly light blonde hair, blue eyes. He’s 6’6” , athletic and toned not to mention a little dramatic. “Yeah I’m ready. I have this feeling of gaining answers today though.” I thought allowed. “Maybe we’ll find some” commented Leah. Leah is the future luna guard, just like her mother. She is 6’2” with long curly light blonde hair, green eyes and is athletic and toned. She’s really smart and has a serious and calm attitude. She’s been like that since she was about 8. She started transitioning and a few people in the pack didn’t approve, they thought being a trans woman would disrupt the future of the pack and it made things difficult for her. Thankfully the current alpha and Luna a.K.a my parents, accepted her. She even has a female wolf which makes it seem like that’s what was suppose to happen. “ hopefully, dad and mom are counting on it” commented lucious. While heading to school we were walking behind someone with a familiar scent. ‘It’s her!’ Stated Rayn. As I mindlinked everyone else she started speaking to herself. Soon after Hayden asked if she was alright in a hushed tone right before she stopped and turned to us with red cheeks.

P.O.V lucious

Thanks to my wolf Moloch I have been up for hours, I could hardly get any rest. He’s been like this ever since Jess said this girl Graice isn’t human. He’s also been on edge because she stated she smelt blood. ‘She better not be hurt! So help me I’ll tear all of them to pieces!’ He growled. ‘Would you calm down! What has gotten into you?!’ I asked annoyed. He won’t tell me anything! Currently the group and I are walking, out of nowhere I smelled something heavenly! It almost made me stiff on site! Once Moloch smelt the scent he started tapping and pacing back and fourth in my mind giving me a headache. *that’s her. That’s Graice* Jess stated in the mind link. As I looked at the figure in front of us she started speaking to herself. ‘I spoke to her wolf, Graice doesn’t know what she is and doesn’t know that it’s her wolf raya speaking to her’ my wolf stated. ‘How doesn’t she know what she is? She has to have some type of family right? Is it possible she was adopted by humans? That shouldn’t be possible. The council has protocols in place to make sure such things don’t happen!’ I thought to myself. Shortly after we all came to a stop. I looked up to meet beautiful blue eyes with purple ish pink hues staring straight at me with heated cheeks. She looks so adorable, almost like a goddess. ‘No almost to it’ Moloch stated. I wonder what he means by that. “Hi, you must be Graice, I’m Lucious Clark, this is my sister Jess, my Best friend Daniel, and our other friends, Hayden and Leah.” I introduced pointing to each of us as I said our names. “Uhmmm he..hello” she said in a shy voice. “Mind if we walk with you?” I asked. She shook her head and we started following her to school. She seemed shy and as I got closer to her Moloch started to growl and get angry. ‘What’s going on Moloch calm down!’ ‘She’s hurt! Someone hurt her! I’ll kill them! I’ll kill them all for hurting her! How dare they!’ He growled. *alpha what’s wrong? Why are you shaking?* someone said but I was paying no attention, as soon as I smelt her blood I was doing everything I could to hold myself and Moloch back. *They dare lay a hand on her?! She’s MINE!* I screamed unknowingly through the entire pack link. She stopped for a moment and turned to me. Her eyes were glowing a ray of colors, it wasn’t her it was her wolf. ‘Calm down my darling, you’ll frighten her. I know you are struggling but please be careful. She knows nothing of our existence and I’m trying to explain it to her. She’s been through so much already that she hardly has any more hope’ her wolf raya states. “Why? Why are you hurt? Why?” I growled. It’s getting more and more difficult to hold myself back. I’ve never felt this way in my entire life. This feeling to protect someone I’ve only just met, the insane s****l urge. What’s happening to me? ‘She’s been abused her whole life, that is why, she still gets harmed everyday. You must promise me you won’t do anything. She must fight back on her own. Promise me!’ Raya cries. ‘NO’ moloch and I scream. ‘You both are ours and those who harm you shall be punished!’ Moloch and I screamed aloud and through the pack link! I’ve never felt such power nor such anger. Out of nowhere I was bowing as well as the rest of the group. One moment I was feeling powerful but now, now I feel weak compared to this aura. ‘You will not defy me!’ boomed raya. ‘You will not interfere unless I or the goddess of the moon give you permission. Is that understood’ she boomed once again. “YES GODDESS” all of our wolves yelled. I looked up just in time to notice we were no longer on the street in front of the school. We were in some type of garden. Their was a koi pond and a willow tree with flowers of several beautiful colors all around. It looked as if the sun was setting and the colors that swarmed made it peaceful. Before I was done admiring the view the world morphed and we were soon back on the street in front of the school. It looked as if everyone one around us was clueless as to what just happened. This she-wolf in front of us was no ordinary wolf. She was more powerful than possibly even the very goddess we pray to. As I was admiring her, her wolfs eyes faded back to her own. She looked at us confused for a moment and before I knew it I was using my inhuman speed to catch her from falling. I held her in my arms trying to wake her but it was no use. She was burning up! ‘Dad! Gracie collapsed and she’s burning up! What do I do?!’ I yelled out to my father. ‘Take her to the school nurse. Me and your mother will be there soon with the pack doctor.’ He responded. Pulling her close to my chest and into my arms I ran towards the school nurse not missing the sparks that coursed through my body where we touched. Jess and the others were hot on my trail all wearing worried and confused expressions. ‘No one will ever harm our mate again’ my wolf exclaimed. ‘What are you talking about? You mean this girl is our mate? She’s our Luna!?’ I yelled back at him. ‘Yes, I feel the bond like no other. I even confirmed it with raya. Graice and raya are our mates. Their our Luna!’ He said proudly. ‘But I’m not 18 yet! How could you know?’ I asked. ‘They are special as are we. Which means the rules aren’t quite the same. We will know more on her 18th birthday’ moloch explained. ‘ I can’t believe it! I found my mate! My Luna! And she’s already perfect! She’s even powerful!’ I yelled to myself. As we neared the nurses office this girl stepped in front of me blocking my path. “Where are you going with her? She isn’t allowed to go to the nurse” she spat. “Get out of my way! Now!” I yelled shocking her. I started to smell her fear before she straightened her shoulders and started inching closer to me. “She’s my pathetic sister and our parents don’t allow her to get medical treatment. Why do you think she always has so many cuts? We want her dead. So let her go, I promise I’ll be better than her.” She said seductively. Hearing her words moloch started to get angry. Everyone could feel our alpha aura through the pack bond. “Move out of the way Sarah, now! Or I’ll make you move!” Yelled Leah threateningly. “You can’t make me do anything tranny, I’m a girl after all and you’re only pretending to be.” She mocked. How did she know that much about Leah anyways? I’ll have to find out later. “If you think she can’t do anything I will, now move you ugly western hillbilly” deadpanned my sister. Finally she moved out of the way and we made our way into the nurses office. “What can I do fo… oh my goodness what’s wrong with her!” Asked the nurse worriedly. “Did the other kids harm her again?” She asked. “What?!!” I screamed. Before I continued to rant Graice moved in my arms. “Shhh I’m sorry my love I didn’t mean to yell, I’m here, you can rest my mate.” I cooed. I kissed her forehead and laid her into one of the beds. Then I looked at Jess before the door was thrown open by my mother who had a worried look on her face. I thought she was worried about me but she walked right past me and went to Graice. That stung a bit. ‘Oh stop shes worried about our mate’ my wolf purred. “My goddess she has so many scars” my mother gasped getting my attention. As I looked in her direction I saw the pack doctor has already lifted Gracie’s clothing. Her body was littered with scars but truthfully, she was still beautiful. I will kiss every single one of her scars as long as she stays by my side. She will always be mine! And I will always be hers! This world has hurt her far too much and I swear I’ll destroy anyone who harms her again. No one will touch my mate but myself. She’s MINE.
