The rest of that particular day was… something else, and by something else I mean something vaguely reminiscent of an early 2000’s highschool teen movie. We didn’t go back to her room until way, way, after dinner. The rest of our day was spent making other people feel uncomfortable. There were whispers that followed us, and eyes that practically burned as they followed us around the place. I didn’t care. I wasn’t sure if Ivy did, but I absolutely and a hundred percent did not. It was just so nice to be the one making others nervous, instead of being the one always waiting for the other shoe to drop. It’s not what you would have expected either.
