I explained what a tween was, because clearly she didn’t want to deal with the heavy yet, and she was baffled as to why we needed a name for that. It really cemented the fact that she hadn’t been anywhere near a tween, since she had been one herself, and actually that explained a lot. We chit chatted, and bantered, but eventually Ivy’s faked enthusiasm died down like she didn’t have the ability to keep it up anymore. Which given what her future held, was a shame, because I would have to help my baby girl get some stamina in that department. One day Kaede would grow up, and start opening his mouth. Words will come out, and she’ll need the ability to fake at least a resting b***h face during that. Finally she started to get quieter, until she was just silently laying there. Looking too tired
