Dave’s POV “Yes, Alex. Grandma’s almost done. I will be in the meeting.” I told Alex on the phone. It was a miracle that the road blockage was immediately cleared after several enforcers came. Apparently, a VIP’s car was also trapped there which prompted the traffic guys to work harder this morning. I had a crazy day after one crazy or I must say…one crazy beautiful lady left her car key to my care. Wow! How could she be that trusting? I was glad that her friend came right away to take her keys and move her car just on time. “Dave, your grandma’s in good health, well aside from her Dementia, I mean.” Grandma’s doctor told me. I was relieved. I am always afraid that she will get sick and leave me. I don’t want to be alone. Just as we were about to leave, I heard a commotion at the hospital. A furious man passed by me and he was taken to a room just several meters across the clinic where we were standing. We walked towards the exit and passed by the Operating Room. I saw a familiar looking lady, sitting helplessly on the floor. Then another doctor came to her and she started sobbing as she leaned to him. Then I saw that she is the pretty doctor from this morning. “Oh my! I’m not sure what will happen to Doc Candy.” A nurse passed by me and whispered to another nurse. Then, I remembered her name, yes it was Candy. It is really her. I got more curious as she stood and held hands with the other doctor who called her, Sweet. I told myself…How stupid of me to ever think that she is single. I was about to head to the exit when I heard a loud shout. A man’s angry vice filled the hallway. I was devastated upon hearing his harsh words. Then I heard loud slaps and after several seconds, the door opened and came out Candy and the other doctor. He protected her from the man.  She is shaking with fear and pain. Then came out the angry man who wanted to chase her and hurt her more. Good thing that the guards came on time to stop him. Candy went away with the guy he is with. I was shocked. Well, I’m not so sure about what I am feeling.  Is it pity? Why am I so curious? I felt something strange. Am I attracted to her? I shook my head and headed to the exit. “Hey, key-taker.” A lady stopped in front of me. “Thanks for keeping my friend’s car key.” Nice to see you here.” She said. “Oh…you’re the doctor’s friend, right?” I asked while looking at Candy’s direction. “Yes, I’m Sarah. I’m here to give her the car key. See you around.” She said as she hurriedly went to the Operating Room. “Sarah!” I called her loudly. “She’s not there. She went this way.” I pointed to the direction where I saw Candy and her boyfriend went. Sarah run towards me. “Thanks.” “Hey! I hope she’s okay.” I said shyly and hesitantly. Sarah looked at me curiously. Then I turned away before she could ask a question.
