My hands shook as I scrolled through Scarlett's vicious posts on Mia’s phone. Each line hit me like sharp claws raking against my skin. My chest tightened with every cruel word she had written.
“She latched onto older, wealthy wolves for protection,” I read aloud in disbelief, my voice breaking. My throat felt dry. I could barely swallow the knot forming from all the hurt.
