Lyra's POV
When I woke up, the back of my head was pounding, but that soreness disappeared after I yawned and stretched my arms.
Kira mentioned that I was going to sleep for an extended period of time, which is why I had no idea how long I had been asleep.
My brain was too foggy to recall anything, but I tried to think of her last words.
I reached for my phone to check the time, but it was switched off.
I sat up from the bed, my attention was drawn to the camera.

I hurled myself out of bed and went straight to the bathroom to shower.
