Keto's POV “Kate, listen to me-” She didn’t. She came at me like an angry wild tiger, no warning, no restraint. “You think I want to listen to you?” she snapped, eyes blazing blue. “You ruined my life, you killed my friends.” I caught her wrists just in time. Her strength was unreal under the full moon. “I had no choice, Kate. I was following orders.” She hissed, ripping free and slamming her fist into my jaw. Damn, that hurt. “You hit like a pissed-off tiger,” I muttered, stumbling back. “Good. I was aiming for your throat.” She charged again. I ducked, grabbed her leg, tried to throw her off balance, but she was fast, too fast. She landed like a cat and spun to face me, fangs bared. “I don’t want to fight you, Kate,” I said, trying to keep my voice calm. “Too late for that!”
