Keto ended the call and looked up at the men. They were trembling now.
“Guess what?” he said with a cold smile. “Only one of you gets to leave here breathing.”
Their fear thickened in the air.
And mine? Mine was tangled in a thousand knots I couldn’t begin to unravel, because Orion was coming.
And part of me wanted to run. But a darker part? It wanted to wait.
“I’ll talk!” the one on the left said quickly, his hands trembling. “Please, don’t let him come. We didn’t know you actually knew Orion.”
