HER SINFUL OBSESSION 6

Mia's POV I ran to the door, my heart pounding so loud it felt like it might burst out of my chest. Please let it be Cole. I got home yesterday, but he called to say he had something to do. I’d been waiting for him all day, hoping he’d show up the minute I stepped inside. I don’t know why I got so mad. Maybe it was because I had built up this hope, this need for something more from him. My hands hit the door and I pushed it open with a big smile, ready to see him. “You’re—” The words caught in my throat. My smile vanished as soon as I saw who it really was. “Alex…” My voice sounded tiny. “Why?” He looked me over, noticing the light gone from my face. “Why do you look so dull? Expecting someone else? You looked happier before.” He walked inside, dragging his luggage behind him. “Ah… no.” I let out an awkward laugh, closing the door behind me, following him into the house. “Why are you back so early?” I asked, trying to keep calm. I’d prayed, begged even, for Cole to be here. Why did Alex have to ruin it? Why now? “Something came up. I didn’t even leave the airport. I had to go somewhere yesterday. I would have come straight home if I could.” He glanced around, like he was searching for something. “By the way, where’s Cole?” “He wasn’t around when I got back from school.” My voice came out quieter than I wanted. He spun around suddenly, catching me off guard, and I softened, hiding the tension. “So… were you alone all night?” His eyes grew wide. I wanted to roll my eyes so hard. Why did he have to be so annoying? If he knew he was coming home now, why did he have to drag Cole here and make me even more hungry for that hard, perfect body of his?. Without answering, I brushed past him. “I’ll be in my room.” I muttered, heading upstairs, slamming the door shut behind me. “Mmph!” I snarled at the door. Evening. I rolled over on my bed, the ceiling above me blank and lifeless. Everything inside felt dull, like a storm had passed through and taken all color with it. I grabbed my phone, desperate for even a single message from Cole, some sign that he was thinking about me, craving me. But the screen stayed empty, mocking me. I hadn’t moved from my room since I came back. “It’s so boring!” I groaned, punching the pillow beside me, frustration and need tightening my chest. My throat was dry and raw, a physical ache that made me grab my phone, flick the torchlight on, and sneak quietly out of my room. The kitchen was cold, the only light was the pale glow from my phone. I opened the freezer and grabbed a cold bottle of water, the chill a sharp contrast to the heat simmering under my skin. I uncapped it and lifted the bottle to my lips. Then, suddenly, strong hands crushed my breasts from behind, squeezing hard enough to steal my breath. I choked, coughing violently, my eyes wide as I spun around. Cole stood there, that damn grin spreading across his face. “What the hell are you doing?” I shouted, trying to sound angry, but my voice was breathless and trembling. His eyes weren’t on mine. They were locked on my soaked white silk nightgown, my hard n*****s poking through the wet fabric, making a cruel tease of modesty. The water I’d spilled clung to me, making every curve visible. I didn’t even bother to cover up. Hell, I loved how hungry he looked—the way his gaze devoured me like I was the only thing that mattered. He stepped closer, face just inches from mine, his breath hot and heavy. My whole body jolted at the nearness, the raw promise behind every move. My thighs clenched instinctively, pressing tight together, my back arching against the cold kitchen counter as he pressed into me. His hands slid up, cupping my face, his thumbs brushing my cheeks. My core throbbed like a live wire, desperate and aching for more. “Do you miss me?” he asked, voice low and deep—so damn perfect it made me want to drown in it. I bit my lip, whispering, “My brother’s upstairs.” “I know,” he murmured. “He’s locked in his room.” I nodded, my breath hitching. His fingers traced my cheek slowly, teasing it. “So… what were you doing all day yesterday? Did you touch yourself? Did you f**k yourself with something while thinking about me?” The words hit me like a blow, hot and filthy. My cheeks flushed with heat and shame. “I didn’t touch myself,” I admitted, my voice barely more than a breath. His hot breath brushed my neck as he whispered, “Why not?”
