***Arsen’s POV***
My heart stopped as I heard the monitors coding. Doctors rushed in as they pushed us aside while they performed CPR and put electric paddles to her heart.
“Clear!” They shocked her with the paddles.
Her heart didn’t start and mine broke a bit more.
“Clear! Come on, Sophia!” They shocked her again as Lanie cried out in anguish.
“My sister! No!!!” She wailed as I hugged her tightly to my chest.
We all waited with lumps in our throats to see if her heart would start. It felt like an eternity of silence as everyone froze in place.
Beep… Beep.... Beep… The heart monitor picked up a heart beat! It was shallow but she was alive!
“SOPHIA!” I cried out, abandoning all reserve as I kissed her lips with all of my love.
