***Sophia’s POV***
The world felt like it was closing in on me. My body felt frozen as I saw the stiff and bloodied bodies of my mate and my sister on the ground. A scream so powerful that it shook the surrounding areas and made everyone pause what they were doing was heard.
The sounds of chains snapping in rapid succession were heard next as my eyes glowed a bright gold. The power that radiated from me sent ripples of forced wind out and away from me that made everyone within my radius to brace themselves.
“KIERAN!” I screamed before my bones cracked and shifted into unnatural patterns.
My mouth elongated as my body became covered in carpets of golden fur. Runes that glowed black appeared along my snout and hind quarters as Aureline came out.
