Becca’s POV
The sound of my phone blaring up woke me up from my sleep. It sounded so aggressive like the sound of vengeance that even if I wanted to ignore it, I just couldn’t. Groaning, I stood up from the bed and stretched, rubbing my knuckles on my eyes. My phone began to ring again on the nightstand so I picked it up. The time on the top right side of my screen caught my attention even before the caller ID did.
Why in the goddess name would the hospital be calling me at dawn? I mean, it was f*****g fifteen minutes past two in the morning.
“Hello” I answered on the third ring.
“Hello, ma’am. We are sorry to interrupt your sleep but you must come to the hospital now. There’s an emergency.” A voice I recognized to be Lina’s said hurriedly from the other end of the line.
