I felt my arm being shook. I cracked my eye open. Instantly my body felt cramped. I forgot for a second where I was. My eyes fully opened then as Jayson was shaking me awake. “The doctors want to talk to us.” Jayson said. I sat up and Dr. Cross and another doctor were standing there. “Please follow us.” They said. We did.
They led us into a smaller room with a few chairs and a couple of couches. They gestured for us to sit. We did. “First, I would like to tell you Ms. Anthony pulled through surgery. Once we were able to tend to the bleeding in her brain she improved. Her odds jumped from five percent to ten percent. It may not seem like much, but she needs whatever victories she can get. She is currently in intensive care.”
