We finally sent everyone on the rest of their holiday time off yesterday. Alaina and I had to taste cakes and pick one out. She took Jayson with her to choose a dress. I went to the jeweler and found wedding bands for us. I was able to hire people to set up our house for the wedding ceremony. Jocelyn has helped us immensely. Alaina has been doing as much as she can from the couch.
I’m not happy she got so tired shopping for her dress, but the cake tasting didn’t help matters. We’re waiting for Alan to return with the Hong’s from the airport. Martha got a cleaning service to come to prepare the rooms for the Hongs. I looked down to Alaina’s napping form. She’s laying on my lap lightly snoring with Newton and Da Vinci curled up behind her legs while she is laying on her side.
