Dahlia As I walked up to the apartment door, everything that had happened pressed down on me, making it hard to breathe. My body was heavy with exhaustion, and my mind was tangled with emotions I still hadn’t sorted out. What would I even say to Kaida? How could I explain the impossible, the unimaginable?
