Chapter 10

"What are you doing here." I hissed as I checked behind me to make sure Luna wasn't anywhere around. She only tilted her head, a dumbfounded look plastered on her face. "I saw a human in here you know. I kicked her out. Told her that you won't be needing to drink from her for a couple hours. Should have seen her face." She chuckled before seductively leaning on her elbows, her rear in the air. "She had the nerve to say that she wasn't your blood bag, and that this was y'all's room." I clenched my hand into a fist then released it again. She was working my nerves. She sensed that and tilted her head. "What's wrong? Normally you're over the moon for me." She pouted before laying on her back, head dangling over the edge of the bed. I smothered the need to correct her and breathed, "I don't eat from humans anymore." Now that caught her attention. "What?" She stuttered before sitting up quickly. "So what that mortal says is true??" She narrowed her eyes at me. I nodded briefly averting my gaze. Looking at her seemed disrespectful now. "Now you won't even look at me. What did that human do? Seduce you? Threaten you?" She scowled. I snapped my gaze back to her. "You know I could kill her if she did threaten me, within seconds it wouldn't even matter." I warned, her throat bobbed at that. I took satisfaction in the fear lingering in her gaze before it was gone. "Then why is she so special?" She spat before getting up and strolling towards me. "Why don't you even look at me anymore?" She grabbed my face and forced me to look. I narrowed at her, my fist tightening now. "Don't. Touch. Me." I breathed, she flinched before snatching her hands off me. "Oh, so you prefer humans as playthings now?" She scoffed. She was about to cross the line. Luna wasn't a play thing, she was my mate. "You're ridiculous, look I'll spill it out right now. I do not want to f**k you anymore. I have respect now. I need to look better for Luna." I said coldly. She whirled at that. "Oh so that's her name?" She sneered, her gaze a ball of fire. "Well why don't I pay LUNA a visit hm? Change your mind?" She said too coldly that I used the shadows and held her in place. "I will not allow you to hurt her." I said tensely. She tried to move from my restraints, a retort clamming on her face. "Don't even bother." I waved the shadows off before opening the door. "Out. And if you touch Luna..." I said as she begin to walk out, already clothed. I grabbed her by the jaw and looked deeply into her eyes. "I will kill you." * * * Groaning I laid myself onto the bed. My muscles were sore as I had finished hunting down a deer and drank from it. It was... gross and did nothing for my appetite... I feel more tired these days then I usually am. It's been days since my encounter with Amanda, Luna has been untouched, thank goodness. My powers have felt less too, I can barely control them anymore. I needed human blood... just any blood I don't care. Luna strolled in beaming. She has looked more cheerful and has even started smiling at him. His heart melted each time. She must have finished with her meeting with her other friends. "How did it go?" I said softly, groaning as I turned to my side. For a moment she seemed worried before she was a beacon of light again. "Oh it was good. I really enjoy their company." She smiled. I smiled too which must have caught her off guard. "You're in a pleasant mood." She chuckled before motioning for me to cover my eyes. I had, only I may have peaked a little bit... my mistake. God she was gorgeous... seeing her like that, fully bare. I snapped my fingers shut, a blush forming on my cheeks. "Alright, you can look." She said, and when I did, my mouth must have looked like a gaping fish. She was in the silk gown yes, but one I wasn't expecting her to wear. It was white, floral patterns at the hem and on the top. The straps where so thin you could barely see them, the gown had an opening in the back so that you can see her spine... f*****g hell... she looked good. "Your blushing." She scoffed. I quickly threw a pillow at her and looked away, scowling. She chuckled before sitting down on her own makeshift bed. "Does it look that good?" She teased... she never teases... "you're in an especially good mood now are you, you should know you don't tease a male like this." I stumbled a little and she only giggled at it. "I'm not teasing, I just like this one and the others are dirty anyways." She shuffled around on her bed. Before I knew it I slumped over, exhaustion hit me like a damn tree. I was seeing specks in my vision before Luna rushed to my side as I was about to fall off the side of the bed. "Rory??" She panicked, sitting me up as I groaned. "f**k Rory..." she seethed looking around. What for? I don't know... but she cursed, and the next this I knew my face was shoved into her neck. "Drink." She ordered softly, I could feel the vein on my lip. I tried to push away put she held my head there. "Look, I know what I said. But seeing you now, it's bad... really bad. I'll make an exception. You can only drink from me. I will willingly give it to you every night okay?" She sounded... scared. I licked her neck and she shuttered a bit. "I'm sorry." I said softly. Kissing her neck. "I can't..." I tried to pull away again but she held my head firmly. "Im saying this, not as a mortal, but as a friend, please..." Luna sighed. A friend... I braced my hand on her exposed spine, resting the other on her other shoulder. Kissing the spot on her neck where her shoulder connected. I could hear her breathing shutter. But I embraced her as I sank my fangs in, warm, sweet blood filled my mouth. She was... sweet. Without even being seduced she tasted wonderful. I groaned into her and moved her into my lap. She stiffened which must have hurt as she hissed but she laid her hands on my shoulder none the less. I tried not to take too much as I retracted my fangs and began licking the wound. Kissing it softly as I slid my hands to my side and looked at her. She was flushed, but she smiled. "Feel better?" She said softly, almost soothing. "Yes, I just need some sleep now." I told her. I felt her get up, move to her bed, and laid down. Not before shutting off the light and saying good night. I mumbled goodnight before laying on my side. It felt like hours passed, but for a moment I swore... I felt someone scoot into bed, pressed against my chest as her rear rested against my hips, out legs tangled together as Lunas scent filled my senses. It was probably the best sleep I'll ever have...
