The turning point

“Okay here we are, I just wish you would tell me that you are about to do.”

“Just trust me bae please.” I said with a smile and a quick kiss I jumped into my car.

I grabbed my cellphone once I was like a mile away and called Devon. “Hey I need a huge favor and I wouldn’t ask if I wasn’t an emergency.”

“What is it love? Is everything okay?” He asked with worry in his voice. I paused, can I really ask him this? Should I be asking this?

“ I need like two grand. I know it’s a lot to ask for, but if I don’t get it something terrible is going to happen to me. I can’t say anything more than that, and I swear I’ll pay you back.”

He didn’t even have to think about it, he gave me the answer I knew he would all along. “Well of course I’ve got it, I’d do anything for you. I wish I knew what was going on though.” Why did I feel so guilty for doing this? My heart sank to the bottom of my stomach, I should be happy!

“ I’ll be there in twenty, thank you!”

He was outside waiting when I pulled up. He could clearly see the rope burns on my wrist and that my hair was in disarray. He gave me a worried look, but he didn’t ask any questions he handed me the money gave me a kiss and told me he loved me. I said “I love you too.” Gave him one more kiss and drove off. As I watched him fade in the rear view mirror I felt even more guilty than before. I have got to make a choice and I have to do it soon!

I was sick to my stomach the whole way back to Jay’s house, and what I seen when I pulled up didn’t help at all. Who’s car was parked outside with them not in it?? His ex girlfriend Roxy. I started to just leave and leave him to figure this mess out on his on, but I had to see what was going on for myself. If they are in there doing what I think they are doing I’ll go find the guys who he owes money and pay off his debt just for them to go kill them both. So I parked my car and went in making sure not to make any noise. As I got to the bedroom door I could hear her. “What do you mean no!? You know you miss me. She’s just some stupid girl you know you don’t actually have feelings for her!” I could hear the bitterness in her words “yes I love her!!! She is not just some stupid girl, she’s my F**king world! You are the stupid girl, I wish I had never met you now get the hell out of my house before she gets back!” He slung the door open and to his surprise I was standing there. “Baby it’s not what it looks like I swear!” I just smiled and gave him a kiss.

“I know.” I said as I turned to her “you heard him get out before I throw you out.” She huffed and stormed out of the house, as she got to the door she said “B**CH I’ll be back he’s mine and I will have him again!” She slammed the door and was gone.

“I got the money so call them and tell them you have it.”

“What?? How???” “It doesn’t matter, all that matters is I have it. Now call them.”
