My knees were shaking as Rimuel continued walking towards me with his eyes intently melting mine. It had been almost a week without a communication with him and now I was seeing him again and I must admit that I missed him.
"Jem I'm sorry." His cracked voice crashed my heart.
I just stared at him, clueless of what was going on. I didn't even know what to say and all I could think of right now was the feeling of my heart beating thunderously around him.
"Please... b-bati na tayo." He handed me the flowers, but i just stared at them. My body felt numb; I just couldn't move as my mind was still buffering.
"Please Jem..." His deep breath put a heaviness on my chest. "I'm sorry kung sumira ako sa usapan at nakipagkita nanaman ako kay Lustre. Mali talaga 'ko. Please... forgive me."
