The excursion up into the highlands of Denise’s property yielded four captives wrapped in chains and suspended from the overhead of a small cavern that apparently no one knew existed. All four were suffering from malnutrition and hyperthermia, but they have been kept alive in a small insulated chamber that was heated by a hot spring. Lighting was provided by solar panels cleverly hidden on the top side of the hill. Without Denise’s confession, we never would have found the women.
