 My body was so sore and my mind was raising with thoughts but the only thing I remember before passing out was saying to myself and Athena that we and Poppy where safe. After what felt like fifteen minutes of sleep I felt Luca murmuring in my ear sweet nothings and, also asking me to wake up for him. It felt really nice though and it was cute that he was trying not to startle me. But when I woke up and sat on his lap I saw his apartment complex and a smile invaded my face almost immediately. It kind of hurt because I had a busted lip but I knew I would heal faster now that I was with Luca. 

  "Okay love birds.... mhm more like dogs, get out of the car before someone spots us", said Samuel teasingly while he cradled Poppy in his arms. 

  "Oh yeah oops", smirked Luca while pulling me out of the car. 

  When we got to the apartment Luca had already called on the pack doctor to come check me and all of my injuries without me knowing. She was waiting patiently in Luca's room with all of her scary doctor tool thingies on a table next to the bed sprawled out waiting to be used. I am kind of traumatized of metal tables and tools at this point because they all look identical to the ones used to torture me and so when I saw her I turned around and began speed walking out to the kitchen until a hand grabbed me and flipped me on their back. I thrashed around trying to break their hold and run away. But I already knew it was Mate since I felt sparks when the hand touched me but I began screaming and crying, I knew I was not going to be able to escape him but I really thought that he was going to protect me. I punched his back and tried kicking him where the sun does not shine but he never even flinched. Once mate walked back to his room he put me down and made me sit on his lap while he had a freaking death grip on me. I swear that when I say he didn't give me one inch of space to breath I wasn't lying. But that still didn't stop me from squirming and crying I even pleaded but he didn't even look at. He just looked at the doctor and told her she may begin. My episodes where now going deeper an deeper and my panic attacks where not helping at all and they where making me feel dizzy and nauseous until eventually I passed out. When I woke up I was laying on Mate's bed while he had a wet cloth over my forehead and the doctor stayed at Luca's side looking sad and worried but why, they put me in this situation so why have the grim faces?, I thought bitterly.

  "Emma here have a glass of water", I didn't even look at him I looked the opposite way admiring his painting knowing well he knew I was purposely ignoring him.

  "EM LOOK AT ME NOW", growled Luca loudly but mixed with Axel's deep and scary voice.

 Instinctively I submitted to him and looked at him because even though I was mad at him he was still my Alpha by bond right. 

 "okay now Emma, this is doctor Liz and she will check your wounds and give you medicine. I know you don't trust anyone with touching you but I promise that we are only trying to make you feel better", he said in a sweet and gentle voice. Doctor Liz gave me a reassuring smile and began walking towards me. Even though I trusted Luca's promise my heart began racing when she reached me. Sensing my distress he looked at her and she stopped reaching over to one of her tools. He began "Besides if she hurts you in anyway I will personally torture her to her death", Luca said with a cheerful smile. 

 After about an hour of checking all my injuries she told me and Luca that I would take a some time to heal properly since I had a lot of silver in my body. She also claimed that I was malnourished, underweight, and dehydrated. She then walked to the corner of the room and grabbed her medical bag and gave Luca pain killers. 

  "Take one every three hours, for three days. Now please rest up Luna you need some sleep. Goodbye Alpha, goodbye Luna".

  After Emma fainted I told Liz to start snapping her bones back to place and fix the broken ones because it will be easier working on her while she is still unconscious. She did as told and when she finished examining her she put a wet rag on her forehead and changed her to one of my shirts this action brought her back and Liz began telling her what medicine she needed to take while handing it to me. I looked at Mate apologetically for getting her in that state but it was the only way to help her.

 Then I asked Emma how she felt while climbing on the bed and sitting next to her. But what she told me broke my heart.....she innocently told me she felt relieved. 

 "Wait why"

  "Cuz I thought you sent a doctor to torture me more", she admitted looking at her hands sadly. 

  "WHAT!!.. never, I was just trying to help you. You are my mate and I love you and want you to be healthy even though it might freak you out or give you episodes I will still make sure you get the right help. You can be stubborn all you want but I do as I feel like, and I felt like you needed Liz so...yeahh".

  At that she smiled and pecked my cheek weakly and drifted to sleep on my chest. When I left my room I came face to face with Samuel looking all worried and anxious. 

 "Soo what did the Doc have to say about Luna's injuries", he said while looking bug eyed. 

 "She said she was in no danger but in serious pain. She fixed all the broken bones, now we have to give Emma a pain killer every three hours for the next three days and she will be as good as knew".

Samuel then went on to say that he cooked dinner and that he brought out all of Emma's gifts from yesterday and he bought food and a bed for the small dog and that he was sleeping in the living rooms couch. I was glad my friend thought so much about my mate and so I thanked him for everything and we headed to the kitchen grabbed our dinner and went down to the dining table and ate while talking about our next steps. 

 Once Emma woke up she walked into the dining room looking like a truck ran her over with her hair all frizzed up, and her eyes all puffy and asked what we where doing. I told her how we needed to talk but she first had to eat her dinner. She sat in one of the chairs while she waited for me to hand her the dinner. So I heated up some of the chicken enchiladas and handed the plate to her while Samuel grabbed a bottle of water from the refrigerator.

"Okay what do you guys need to talk about" I asked the boys with a mouth full of food.

 Luca started off by telling me how none of this is my fault but his. And we where no longer safe going to school or leaving this apartment. Now that he killed this packs Alpha it would only be a matter of time before Sky would send warriors to imprison us. 

 "Luca please get to the point", I warned while slightly getting pissed off from his never ending ranting. 

 "We have to leave.....", he began. 

  "Where Luke!?...", I asked but this time with Athena mixed into my voice.

 Luca seemed hesitant but thankfully Sam looked at Luca for his approval and Luca nodded. 

  "Well Luna.., because we have killed this packs Alpha we have to leave home to our pack and seek reinforcements but we have to leave now before it's too late".

  "Wait i'm going to your-", Luca interrupted me and said it was our pack and that I was its Luna. 

  I obviously understand wolf ranks and everything but I still can't seem to accept the fact that I am Luna to the biggest pack in the US and I will soon call it home. 

 We talked for the next hour in 'our' room and decided we would leave tomorrow and come back to overthrow Sky once we have our warriors ready. I was happy to know that my mate was going to help me take back my pack but still scared for this future war. But in the meantime we showered and snuggled up in bed while watching Marvel movies. Then we peacefully fell asleep around 1AM.
