Luna and the Female Beta

  ** Emma's POV **

  It has now been two days since Samuel mind linked me and Luca, to say things can get anymore surprising is an under statement since Samuel's mate is someone I very well know. Before Sam even said her last name, I had already known who she was.... Alessandra Mills was one of the few wolves who tried helping me out of my torment. When my mothers sister took over and first began abusing me, Alessandra was the one to stick up for me, I remembered. 

  "Mate!.... Ems are you okay", shouted Luca while gently shaking me but still managing to make me fall off the couch.

  "Yeah i'm fine I was just thinking about Samuel's mate".

  Luca furrowed his eyebrows confused and asked me why I was thinking about her. 

  "I've already met her", was all I told him before kissing his forehead and walking off heading to bed. 

  "You should tell mate all about that she wolf", bickered Athea 

   You know that I can't do that. Not while Samuel knows about her past first. 

  "Luca is the ALPHA of this pack and he deserves to know everything about any wolf that touches foot in his territory". 

  "I know Athea- but I am also not ready to tell because it is her story not mine".

 After that I closed our link and blocked her I then went to bed but I couldn't help tossing in and turning for a few minutes .... because of the guilt I now have due to our conversation which is still lingering around my mind. I know I shouldn't lie to my mate but technically I haven't lied to him, I will tell him everything once Sam and Alessandra arrive to the pack house. This way we can all speak on the matter and nobody has to talk about it or get confused. After about fifteen minutes later Luca came and after showering he began cuddling me and we both fell into a blissful sleep. 

**** Next Day ***

 It is 2:30 and I am running around the pack house with Serene trying to finish setting up for the Betas's arrival. I chose to do the celebration outside in the front of the Pack house where we have fountains and small tables set up, I thought it would be fitting since the mess would be outside and not inside and it was also a beautiful and sunny day. After that I checked on everyone to make sure they where doing everything correctly and While the packs Omega is cooking the meals the maids where preparing their rooms, and Luca and Damien where doing pack work while at the same time making sure everything is going good at the borders. They have been very busy lately I haven't even had a chance to be with Luca for some time now which makes me sad but he is constantly linking me to ask how i'm doing and to come see him if I ever need him with whatever the situation is. He even told me to come visit his office if I was ever too 'frustrated' and couldn't wait for him in the night time.

  The jerk, Athena added while we laughed and my cheeks blushed at the memory from this morning.

  I am honestly really nervous because I haven't seen Alessandra in nearly three years, to be honest she probably thinks i'm dead.

 "Welcome home Beta and Female Beta!!." ,the whole pack chanted surprising the new mates. 

 Everything went to plan and I kind of wandered off with the pups in the little playing mat the packs nanny had set up, while Luca went to talk to Sam and Alessandra. I don't want to confront her yet because I feel too guilty for everything I made her lose. She must hate but I still knew that I would have to meet her soon since I am this pack's Luna. Actually not introducing myself to her is very disrespectful and rude but by the scent of my mate nearby I already know they are walking towards me. 

 "Hey Luna, how have you been?."

 "Good how about you?.", I asked with a smile on my face while I stared at his mate. 

  "Very good and even now so that I have found my mate.", he said while grinning like a dork.

  "Luna this is my mate Alessandra Mills, Mate this is Luna Emma Heart".

 The look of shock on her face was enough to let me and Athena know she remembered me. But as I had already told Athea, she presumed I was dead. 

  "Hello Alessandra.. It is nice to see you have found your mate and are healthy and happy", commented Athea with her alpha voice. 

 Before I even extended my hand out to her she quickly hugged me sending both of us down and falling on our butts on the soft green grass. 

 "Wait, you guys know each other?.", asked a very baffled Samuel. 

 "Yeah we do", I urgently replied cutting Alessandra off with a deadly stare.

 I will tell you guys how we met and everything else you want to know but lets get drinks or dance for a bit, I suggested with a huge grin on my face.

 While we all danced around and took pictures everything seemed to be perfect right from a storybook but of course after the party was done we all headed to our chambers but Luca had some more pack work to finish so he didn't come to bed with me and strangely enough midway to my room which is down the hall I was stopped by Alessandra. 

"Uh, what are you doing in the Alpha, and Lunas ONLY floor, I asked her while giving emphasis to the word: only. 

 "Forget that, Why are you avoiding me", she said while cutting me off. 

 Athea was already getting anxious and pissed off from the lack of respect but I guess that is what happens after a wolf gets in a pack and establishes their power and strength. 

 "I am not avoiding you Alessa!.", I gritted out. 

 "O-okay if you say so.."

 "Now if you mean why I am distant then it is because I do not trust anyone anymore. But We will have a meeting tomorrow with you, your mate and, mines down at the foyer because tomorrow's weather is said to be beautiful and I don't feel like sitting in my office".

 "Well okay Luna Emma, I will see you tomorrow and forgive me for following you to your floor", she said while awkwardly smiling at me. 

 I watched her as she walked down my long dark maroon hallway and into the elevator which would take her down to the lower floors. I must have been very distracted if I didn't notice her following me up the stairs. I personally prefer the stairs over elevators any day of the week which is why I always come up here via stairs but Athea loves her cardio which is another reason I walk up here. 

 whatever, Anyways I have to link Luca and tell him about the meeting but I am too exhausted can you do that for me Athena?

 "Yeah whatever", she sleepily said.

 ** Luca POV **

 After introducing my mate to Samuel's mate I could tell they had some painful past shared between the two. It was easy to notice with the waves of guilt and regret coming from Alessandra and my mate stiffing like a board and Athea fighting for control which she won. Axel and I are starting to get really restless because of it but we know that Emma will soon tell us what we need to know and I have also heard Athea and Emma's thoughts. 

 "We have to stop eavesdropping you fool", mumbled a very frustrated Axel. 

 "I know but in our defense she kept it open and we are nosey wolves", I reasoned. He only grunted at me but he knew I was right.  

Now that Sam and his mate are here in our territory safe from Emma's Aunt, I got the link we have been desperately trying to hear for the past hour from Athea saying we have a meeting tomorrow which is to tell me and Sam everything ,according to her thoughts.-Okay I really do need to stop. 

 After finishing some pack work I had to deal with I finally walked towards the elevator and jogged my way to my master bedroom to find my beautiful mate sleeping soundly in my enormous bed that swallowed her small frame.
