The Alpha's Abused Royal Mate

    I haven't gone to school in three days, and Athea is growing more anxious by the minute. We have not been able to contact Axel at all and After the beating Luna and Alpha left me in the cell for hours until an omega was sent down to untie me and take me to my room. I am thankful because at least the Omega told me to run along and grab a used water bottle. Since then they have locked me up in the attic without food or water, just me and a sick looking puppy on my lap while my wolf is struggling to survive. I haven't been doing any better though. 

  "I just hope Luca is alright, he probably thinks I don't wanna see him after our discussion on Friday", I thought while laying on my bathroom floor. 

 After a few minutes of me pondering on how to fix my life and take over my pack, I hear someone banging on the bathroom door telling me to come out now. Poppy quickly hid behind the toilet out of view. I tried getting up to the best of my abilities but I couldn't use my hands or feet for support since they are still in excruciating pain and every time I would try to get up my body would just struggle to keep me on my feet. Just when I managed to get on my feet with the support of the towel rack next to me the door bursts open with a warrior I well know to be my twin brother Stefan's ex-girlfriend Samantha, she never liked me because my brother would always prioritize me and not her but what can I say. He did when we where babies and he did, right before he died. I mean he was older than me by an hour so in his eyes he was the 'BIG' brother that needed to always protect his little sister. But back to what I was saying she entered the bathroom and dragged me by my arm and I dare to assume leaving bruises while she smirked down at my sad and broken face. 

   "Okay wrench come with me. Lets have a little walk to the Alpha's office", she said as if she had any power over me. 

  I immediately knew why I was called down. They are probably going to make me do chores in the house again. But whatever at least I can be able to feed Poppy and eat something for the first time in four days... Once we got to the office, Samantha bowed her head down in respect and left leaving me alone with uncle Derek. He just stayed there silently staring at me while giving a small grin. 

 "He's probably admiring the handy work he has done to us", whispered Athea after completely blacking out and not saying a word to me for the past few days. 

 "Okay little w***e let me make this clear. The only reason you are here and not getting punished is because I have been waiting for you to heal so you can make a big dinner today oh and you have to clean the whole pack house. Be ready before 3pm. Our guest is someone very important. 

 "Excuse me Alpha but wouldn't my physical appearance disturb your meal?..."

  "N-no you will just be serving and delivering any requests they might have, besides your face and body will show them not to mess with me or they will be at my wrath just like you are", he said proudly.

 "When would you like me to begin the preparation's?."

 "Right now you imbecile you only have five hours that is not a lot of time, remember if my guests don't like the food I will punish you severely"

  "Yes Alpha"

  I wonder who this Alpha is? I guess he is very important because even though uncle Derek is trying to put up a confident face I can still tell he is nervous. I can smell it off of him. He probably forgot to wear his neutralizer which only him and Luna are allowed to wear in this pack. (Neutralizer is a spray that blocks werewolves from smelling your scent.) This is was used often by warriors and spies because once a wolf has someone's scent he can track them and find them anywhere in the world while your scent also lets other wolves know if your angry, sad, happy, nervous, hurt, pregnant, etc.

 I have cleaned every nook and crannies in this house, I even deep cleaned the fridge and mopped the whole house. For me the most difficult part in cleaning the pack house is the living and dining room. These are the most used rooms in the mansion which are also the messiest rooms they're are always new stains and rips in the furniture. Obviously they would blame me for not cleaning or repairing the items 'they' broke but hey that's normal for me. I chose to make rice mixed with beans and fried pork chops, a Cesar salad, and for dessert I made a blueberry pie and cheesecake. After I finished cooking the dinner for the pack I quickly washed all of the dishes, while I put everything away I began looking for some left over dinner from yesterday which was Mac and Cheese but that isn't surprising at all since the pack house has their own cook but they kind of gave me her job so now she rarely cooks for the pack. After heating the food up I put it in a small bowl and got another and added water and took it to my room to give to Poppy. Because he hasn't been able to use the bathroom properly I left him outside for a longer period of time to enjoy the air while doing his business while I cleaned up his previous bowls.

 Now that the puppy is all settled and sleeping on my couch I can take a shower and get ready for this dinner. While I grabbed my pink spaghetti strap dress that ended mid thigh and nicest flats I had I grabbed a small thong and headed to the bathroom.. When I got to the shower I let the hot water run down my body while soaking my hair while I admired the sense of warmness that I felt which imitated the feeling I shared when I would be close to Luca. After about ten minutes I dried off and put my clothes on while tying my hair in a tight high pony tail. I tried admiring my outfit but it was impossible with all the scars and bruises I had. My face was also seriously swollen from my last punishment showing my black eye, broken cheekbone, fractured jaw, dislocated shoulder, and many other cuts in my legs and my now bandaged covered hands. After noticing how hideous my body looked I silently sobbed to myself while I could feel Athea trying to open a link with me but failing from how weak she was. When suddenly I felt something furry rubbing on my leg and when I look down it was Poppy with my late mothers diamond necklace. Soon a huge smile broke out of my lips and I petted Poppy while thanking him and putting the necklace on my neck. Now that I was ready I headed down while trying not to cry because if I am being honest with myself I fear that my clumsiness is probably going to get me punished today. 

 While I thought I got down to the kitchen in time, Alpha Derek punched me in my mouth while telling me to clean my blood from my lip and start getting the pack members food served. He also mentioned that his guests where on their way. His statement all of a sudden gave me more anxiety and I almost got a panic attack. 

** Alpha Luca POV **

 Today I felt as though school had decided to just double it's time or go slow motion because the day was so long and my desperation to get to mate only grew. I was also annoyed because I really don't like this Alpha or Luna, and I really don't know why I feel like this towards them but I do and i'm dreading this dinner. 

  Axel is snapping at me and others from left to right and he also took over control four different times today. I guess it is true what my father says 'Always keep your mate near because if you don't it will drive both of your wolves literally crazy'. But Now that school is finished I reassured Axel that we where going to see mate and he decided to calm down. Samuel and I then walked to the parking lot and got in the car and changed our t-shirts to button up shirts and formal shoes.

 "Wow I didn't think we would be able to pull such a sophisticated look in just three minutes", said Samuel while smiling in awe.

  "Well I always knew about me, I just wasn't sure about you"

 Samuel gasped in an exaggerated way and began laughing. We talked and listened to music until we arrived to the pack house with the Alpha and Luna already outside waiting to greet us in. After I parked Samuel walked behind me while letting me take the lead and when I reached Alpha Derek and Luna Sky I greeted them while introducing my Beta Samuel. Once they welcomed us into the mansion everything was how I expected it small but very beautiful and very clean. Luna Sky showed us to the dining room and Axel quickly smelled mate at first I got excited but I came to the conclusion that I was smelling her scent all over since she lived here.      

   The Alpha then asked everyone for their attention and he introduced us to everyone and then he said that his lowest ranking Omegas would be coming with the food shortly. Five minutes later three Omegas come out bringing us our food but one of them catches my eye. It is my mate with bruises and swollen face and in this precise moment Axel tries to take over and kill this whole pack but I fought with him for control and told him it is best to know who did it so we can kill them slowly. I still couldn't hold my fury in and I growled in a very possessive and angry way, everyone looked at me while submitting even Alpha Derek and Luna Sky submitted. 

 "Derek... who is that Omega with the pink dress?..", I asked damn well knowing it is my mate. 

 "That slut is Emma Heart the runt and disgrace of the pack that we decided raise and spare her life", he said in a victorious way. 

  "What did she ever do to deserve that title and those marks?..", I asked in a calm but dangerous voice while inside, me and Axel where trying not to kill anyone involved...yet.

   "She is very disobedient and doesn't follow her ranks duties like cleaning, or cooking".

Then without noticing me and Samuel she comes to us and hands us our plates while looking down at the floor. I could know understand why she missed all those days in school. She was trying to heal before coming back, I could tell that she had a few broken bones, she had two minor dislocated bones, but her face broke me she had both of her eyes black and almost swollen shut while you can see her fingers broken and bandaged up and even blood in the corner of her mouth. She looked like she lost a few pounds too, which is very worrisome. When I turn to the side I can see Samuel staring at me with glassy eyes while looking like he saw a ghost. 

    "Alpha", was the only thing he mind linked me and said with a broken voice. He then looked down at his lap and I knew that he was silently crying. The thing with Samuel is that he has this huge heart and wolves get emotional connections with their leaders, even I almost started crying from anger and frustration but I was able to keep a hard face and act unbothered. 

 When Emma came back with a bottle of wine she walked next to Derek and he grabbed her by the arm and mumbled something in her ear where she immediately teared up. That was enough for me because I just sat there waiting for her to notice me. After she gave Mule his glass he held her wrist and in a choked voice whispered "Luna!?". She then began sobbing and shaking and looking frantically for me while i turned her towards me and held and kissed her hands. 

  "What the hell are you doing you bitc-", I growled and shifted to attack Derek. 

    Samuel also shifted and began saying "careful how you treat my Luna".

   All the pack members submitted to me and I slowly walked to Alpha Derek and bit his head off. Many members cried and screamed while their bonds and links where severed. When I turn to my mate she is sitting on the floor crying from the shock, I think I might have brought back a memory from when the Rouges came to this pack. While a few wolves came to attack me Samuel took care of them because I was too busy consoling and carrying my mate to the car. After we made it to the car she told me that she has something she needs to pick up from her room. But I was not going to let her go back into that house.

 "What is it you need to get, mate", asked Axel

 "My dog"

 "WHAT!. Luna you have a dog?.. doesn't having one in your head enough for you", interrupted Samuel trying to enlighten the very tense mood up.

    "Please they will kill him, and he is mine", she says weakly but still in a commanding voice.

    "Okay.. okay Luna whatever you need".

 Five minutes later Samuel comes with a fluffy puppy. Uh taking care of this weak small dog is going to be a pain in the ass I thought to myself. I have Samuel in the drivers seat that way I can sit in the back and tend to mate while he drives. I made sure to make her comfortable for our forty minute car ride home, Emma seemed to calm down after being in my arms but it is most likely the mate bond making her feel protected and she soon relaxed and slept. She had woke up a few times but I would hush her and kiss her forehead while telling her to rest and to talk later. Sometimes she would mumble incoherent things and cry but I would stroke her hair and she would calm down soon after that. 

 I just sat there looking at how broken my mate is but also how strong she is because even though people did her wrong, she treated everyone with kindness. I just stared at her while feeling guilty for not realizing sooner.
