The Alpha's Abused Royal Mate

Alpha's Pain

                                 *******Alpha Luca POV******

      I was itching to get away from my pack for the past few weeks and my father has finally allowed it.  "yeah but you had to beg like the useless human you are", snickered Luca's wolf Axel.  Shut up you dumb mutt and get out of my head I yelled while cutting our mind link. Only one more day and we can finally look for and help mate. 

     Axel growled loudly and showed his canines while hearing the mention of his mate. The thing is that Luca and Axel have already met their mate but they cant remember why they are not together. A year ago when Luca turned 18 he went into a human town to find some girls to play with, at the time he was stressed because he wasn't getting any s*x and Axel was upset because he just wanted to find his mate, then he found the most delicious smell  near a flower shop right at the border of the human territory and the Golden Moon Pack territory, which he claimed to be of warm vanilla sugar and naturally he followed it. 

      After Axel had picked up the smell he started wagging his tail and howling while chanting MATE!. They stayed in the same spot they where trying to find the person who is emitting such a scent. Just when Luca was gonna give up he saw half of the face of the most beautiful girl he has ever seen. Immediately Axel realized her wolf was not mature yet meaning the girl was not 18 and would not recognize him. This revelation caused pain making them whimper in desperation to touch their mate Luca did the one thing that he could do which was to just slump on a nearby road two blocks away from the flower shop.  The girl felt someone staring holes in the side of her face and so she turned around to find Luca staring profusely at her. When he noticed her fear he looked away for a splint second but when he averted his gaze back to the shop she was gone.

     This memory always depressed him because Axel always blamed him.  He said that if he would have grown a pair of balls and talked to their mate that she would be with them today.  In a way Luca knew he was right but his reverie was soon interrupted when his soon to be Beta, Samuel knocked on his apartment sized bedroom door and came asking him if he finished packing. 

     UHhh grumbled Luca yelling through mind link telling Samuel to leave him alone and f**k off. "Alpha I am right here their is no need to mind link if I am standing at the other side of the door" laughed Samuel. Luca was already tired and stressed as it is and when his best friend Samuel kept pushing his buttons he had no choice to surrender his body and let Axel take control. Luca's eyes began turning pitch black and he let the most deadly and animalistic growl indicating that Axel has completely taken over. 

      GET OUT NOW; roared Axel in which through his werewolf hearing he was able to identify it as Samuel leaving. The reason the Alpha was so upset was not very clear he just felt agitated and worried for the last few months. Luca has been keeping himself in his room because although he never mentioned it to his parents or Samuel he was in pain. Not really his pain but he knew who's pain it was, his beautiful mate. Normally every time around noon he would feel excruciating pain in his abdomen and his back while he would find weird bruises on his skin. Every morning and he would see some other mark on his skin which he suffered silently because he knew why it was happening to him. Axel would always lower his ears and tail and he would double over in pain while howling from pain and sadness. This only made them more desperate to find their mate but they didn't have a name, pack, much less a face to go to.

              I was walking through the pack house and I reached the kitchen only to see an Omega which works at the kitchen making dinner. I stopped him and asked what he was making and he replied with ,"Hello young Alpha, today I will be making you favorite Italian pizza to celebrate your new school". We laughed together and smiled. The Omega was about 60 years old but he was like an uncle to me and Axel and we were very fond of him. Just as I went to get up I felt a stinging pain in my cheek and it felt like a knife was cutting me in half. I stiffened not trying to show any signs of pain but my mood immediately went sour because even though it was not that painful to me I knew my mate was feeling the affects differently and we knew damn well she was suffering.

             By then many pack members where sitting at the dining table chatting up with each other but I couldn't keep her out of my mind. Some members noticed and asked what was wrong but I shrugged them off and told them that I was just nervous for the new school year. I tried to eat my pizza but I did not have an appetite and I was growing a headache from hearing Axel whimper in my head. So I blocked me and Axel's mind link.

            Okay Axel, you good?! I asked him and he just nodded. I gave my dishes to the Omega and started walking to my room. Lets start packing then because we only have tomorrow till we start our quest to find mate. I guess that seemed to cheer him up a bit because he just yelped and we only took about an hour and a half of packing and making sure we had everything we needed. I mind linked Samuel and when he got to my room I apologized and asked if he was ready, he then replied with a "yes, Alpha" and I asked him if he wanted to race through the woods. He never disappointed because he nodded his head positively very happy and said that he would beat me but I knew that he didn't stand a chance with Axel.
