Pack Run

**Part 2 Emma's POV**
After deciding to wait for Luca to come from the office I grabbed myself some new cotton panties and some pajama shorts with a white tank top and drew myself a hot bubble bath. I stayed there for almost an hour before actually showering. While I dried my wet hair with my white and gold fluffy towel, Athena began getting clingy.
"Ems can you please just go to mate? I need him.", pleaded Athena.
"NO! I already told you that he has a lot of work and I refuse to distract him even more than we already have".
"I'm going to do it"
"Don't you dare-".
I didn't even finish before my i***t of a she wolf started showing me flashbacks of me and Luca's shower s*x, and when he marked me.
"Uh just because you show me how hot and desirable mate is doesn't mean I choose to interrupt his work".
"Now we will just wait and read a book or something. Then if he wants we can do all those nasty things you're imagining in our head", I said while dragging out the word our.
After I finished dressing and combing my tangled hair I put it in a bun and mind linked the pack's cook.
"Hey, how are you?.", I asked kindly and slightly embarrassed because I was making someone else make me food when I could have done it myself.
"Baby, please stop thinking like that. It is their job and how he makes money for his family besides your the Luna so you aren't supposed to do any of those things if it felt like a drag to you now go order whatever you want but don't wait up for me since I am not nearly finished with today's work. I love you".
"I love you more and okay I am really going to miss you... and STOP READING MY MIND"
"Okay baby but I wouldn't be able to read your thoughts if you wouldn't leave your link opened".
"Yeah, yeah, okay just go back to work. I love you bye now".
After I shut the link with Luca and ordered my food I sat down on my side of the bed and began reading my Hunger Games book. It is one of my all time favorite books, this one and the Percy Jackson series.
** A couple hours later **
"Uh a few more minutes".
"Baby it's time for the packs run".
"WHAT! you should have woken me up sooner", I growled loudly while running into our closet.
"Watch it", growled Axel dangerously low.
I quickly turned and whimpered while lowering my head as an apology. I always knew that a human and it's wolf are very different with distinct mannerisms, and attitudes but Axel has never snapped at me he has always been nice, kind, and loving just like Luca but now I am noticing how they really are different beings. I mean i'm a werewolf so I know that were different but my point is Luca has never done anything like that before but Axel is an Alpha so I guess he will be more strict, it was my fault for growling first but he is stronger than me so its still scary.
"Omega can you come here".
Whilst I slowly walked up to him I lowered my head so he wouldn't see my eyes which were welled up with tears. I was really hurt and I wanted to ignore him but he was still my Alpha and I still have to do as he says it was in our biology to submit to our Alphas. After looking at his hard eyes tears began to spill and flow down my face.
"Emma can you look at me?."
I just shook my head negatively because I was too busy looking down at the floor while crying softly.
"Please...?", he begged.
Then I knew it was Luca who was talking. By the way he pleaded and how soft his voice was I definitely knew Luca fought over control with Axel. I was relieved if I am being honest because right now I am too scared and hurt to speak to Axel.
After a minute of him just staring at me while I decided to find the floor interesting he got up and lightly held my chin up for me to look at him.

"Baby why are you crying?.", I asked while brushing the pad of my thumb over her tear stained cheeks.
"Axel growled at me", she hiccuped while trying to calm herself down but failing miserably.
"Aww baby.. please don't cry do you know that me and Axel would never hurt you?.", I asked while rubbing circles on her back.
She just hummed and looked away. I knew we where going to be late for the run so I just delayed it. We could have made it to the run.. late but I knew that helping and reassuring my mate is more important than a dumb run.
I then picked her up and sat her on my lap while I played with her hair and explained to her that me and Axel have different personalities and pet peeves.
"Baby. Ems please remember that we will never do anything to harm you but also remember that Axel is moody and he doesn't tolerate disrespect from anyone not even you and your our mate. But that doesn't mean he doesn't love you because I hope you know that we love you very much", I said while kissing her forehead.
After she calmed down she gave me a small but genuine smile and said that she understood what I was telling her. After Emma and I showered we put on some loose fitting clothes and walked outside to meet up with the pack.
After making eye contact with the whole pack everyone looked down showing their submission to me and Emma and once I commanded everyone to turn into their wolves the only thing that you could hear was the pack members hiding behind trees taking their clothes off and bones cracking. Because it was Emma's first time doing the run she got to shift privately with me away from the pack, normally I would just go behind a tree with the rest of the members but Emma seemed uncomfortable as it is so I didn't want to push her too much. After Emma finished shifting she came up to me sniffed my ear and scoffed letting me know that she wanted to see Axel. I just rolled my eyes and went into the back of Axel's mind while letting him take over.
"Why did you leave?.", asked Athea boldly.
"What do you mean leave?."
"Axel stop acting as you can't recall snapping at me then leaving and giving Luca control".
"Omega I was stressed out and then you where trying to be smart so it sort of pushed me over the edge but i'm sorry".
"And?."
"And what? what are you waiting for because I said all I had to say?."
"UH just talk to me when you stop being such a knot head oh and tonight you sleep on the couch!."
"As if you my darling little mate can keep me from OUR bedroom", I scoffed at her.
After our little altercation me and Athena led the run quite flawlessly and it was perfect, she knew how to help the pups who where staying behind whilst still coming in the front with me. Even while she was mad at me she still made sure I was in front of the wolves guiding them around the woods. It was funny because she thought I didn't see the hundredths of glances she threw at me but they were all filled with love and happiness. But when I would stare at her and she would notice she would just raise her head up and lift her tail proudly while looking away and then shooting daggers at me from behind my back.
Oh if looks could kill I thought. I would most likely be six feet underground.
