Scarlett knew that if she were slower, her grandfather would die. She stepped forward quickly, took a bottle from her arms, and poured out two pills for her grandfather to take. After that, she adjusted the equipment by herself. Soon, her grandfather's heartbeat returned to normal. Only when the situation stabilized did Scarlett personally remove all the tubes from her grandfather.
Seeing this scene, Sophie exclaimed excitedly. "Dad, are you OK?"
Nolan lying on the bed slowly sat up and looked at Scarlett. "Are you the granddaughter I've never met?"
Scarlett nodded. "How are you feeling now?"
Nolan quickly said joyfully, "The feeling of suffocation in my body is much better. How did you do it?"
