"Why do you always twist what I'm trying to say?" Wesley's voice was low, but the intensity made Scarlett pause. "Take your time and think about it. Am I really the person you're making me out to be?" Scarlett hadn't expected that. After a moment of silence, she finally spoke, "Alright, I'll figure out where we stand."
