Wesley noticed Scarlett staring at him, lost in thought. His voice dropped to a low, husky tone.
"Are you satisfied with what you see?"
Scarlett blinked, feeling embarrassed, and quickly looked away.
"You're flawless, but I know exactly where we stand."
Wesley raised an eyebrow, leaning in slightly to meet her gaze.
"And where do you think that is?"
Scarlett frowned. Hadn't he said they were just business partners? Why was he asking her now?
She could never quite figure out what he was thinking.
