"There's no need for an investigation!" Alpha Rivers snarled. "The culprit is standing right before you, but you can't call her out because she's your son's plaything?"
I could sense the tension between the two Alphas and I knew that this was not going to end well. The guards that flanked Alpha Rivers had their hands on their holsters and my guess was that any moment from now, bullets would be flying through the pack square.
