I could feel my heart thumping in my chest. Had someone followed us all the way to the hospital?
Chris let out a low growl and I noticed that his eyes had turned bloodshot. He slammed the door open, and assessed the surrounding for immediate threats. There was no one in sight.
"Let's get out of here," He said and grabbed my arm.
As we made our way out of the elevator at the bottom floor, I sighted Kyle walking towards us. There was a scowl on his face and I figured that he wasn't in a very good mood.
"What are you doing here?" Chris snorted. "Have you been following us?"
"Yeah, I have," Kyle admitted. "Sons of Alphas turning up dead like flies in our pack and all my brother cares about is a midnight date with his mate. Guess I'm the only reasonable Storm at the moment."
