KYLE'S POV The night air was cold, but the tension was suffocating. My eyes remained locked on Justin’s still form and I noticed that his chest was barely rising. All I could hear was the pounding of my heart as I tried to revive him, and although I tried my best to keep a composed front, it was obvious that I was confused. Justin wasn’t waking up. The realization struck me harder with every second that passed. His skin was pale, unnervingly so, and the veins in his arms had, darkened with an unnatural hue.
