The growl reverberated through the air, low and menacing. The sound of its growl was one that sent a jolt of terror straight through me. My heart thundered against my ribs as I stared into the glowing eyes of the rogue wolf. Every muscle in my body screamed for me to move, but I was frozen, rooted to the spot as it crouched, ready to pounce.
