VALERIE I stared at the churning dark waters before me. My heart was racing, but I tried my best to calm myself down. I had successfully passed through the cave. There was no way I was going to fail now. I watched the tide rise high and after a few seconds, crash against the rocky shore. It was not a windy morning and i was left to wonder why the waves were so strong. The sea emitted a strange haunting glow and monstrous silhouettes flickered across the surface.
