At exactly 9 p.m. the games began.
The 'Capture the flag' was a game that dated back centuries and everyone knew the rules by heart.
The game began with the two teams setting their respective bases miles away from each other, and deep in the woods. Then, a gun was fired into the air. The loud bang meant that the game could begin and whichever team was able to retrieve the opponent's flag won.
It was a tricky game and over the years, many packs had come up with different strategies to win. While most of the packs preferred the divide and conquer system, which divided the participants in pairs as they searched for the opponent, we preferred the traditional system of maintaining a stronghold, and waiting for the opponent to get to us first.
