"Am I in trouble?" Miller asked in a very gentle tone as his mother entered the room. He was expecting to see him dad again and often times when they switched like this, it's because he was in trouble and likely get punished.
"No, I heard you're not feeling fine." Freya replied while trying to keep a straight face and not laugh. She wasn't going to punish him or anything like that, she just didn't want to give him the wrong impression by unnecessarily indulging him. Miller didn't answer either, he wasn't sure what his dad said and he didn't want to shoot himself in the leg.
"Your dad told me all about it, so it's fine but dont think you're getting out of going to school." Freya cleared his worries.
"But mom..." He was going to try and convince her but she was having it.
