It was stupid, I know it was, but how could I not tell her when she thought I no longer loved her? She may have been on this planet for less than a year but mentally she was so much older, and I needed to remind myself of that.
Maybe not old enough for this news, but the alternative could be worse. If I explained to her who she was and what her future determined…well it would blow everything up.
