After days of being monitored in the hospital, it was time for me to be discharged, and I couldn't be happier. I was not too fond of the idea of everyone coming to see me in the hospital every single day. I am grateful for what they do, but the attention shift was massive, and I don't know what I can do to repay them.
If anything was shocking, it was Arden coming to visit every day. He would stay here with me and Rachel, and at other times, he would ask her to return to the palace. Even more surprising was how he wasn't trying to be intimate with me. He was just here to look out for me.
I want to feel some security, but that hasn't worked in my favor the last few times it happened. So I'll take it as a working relationship, a King worried for the safety of his guard
