Serena's POV
The familiar smell hung arrogantly in the air. The hospital smell provoked my stomach and I began to feel nauseous. I entered the room and Arden was spread on the hospital bed as he was deep asleep.
I stood beside his bed admiring his tired face that still managed to shine bright under the beaming light.
I was carried away by the beauty of the man lying before me until I heard footsteps approaching. I adjusted myself immediately and wanted to sneak out again.
