I was completely confused, and I had nothing to say. What was there to say, I am completely lost. This is ridiculously. This is so messed up. I can't believe this is the secret war we need to fight, and I thought Derek was the main enemy. The witches had planned this through and through. If anything happens, they will attack.
Also, Arden was cursed, and I'm his second mate. This is too much information to get at once. If his previous mate was killed in advance, then who am I? Am I his mate truly? Or am I just a means of delay? Is this why Arden never truly loved me?
