Amelia's POV
I walked into the office sheepishly as I thought of CEO Asher. He had unknowingly grown on me. From the way he looked at me to the way he talked to me, I think I was beginning to have something like a crush on him.
“ Snap out of it, Amelia,” I slapped my face. I needed to get ahold of myself. He was my boss after all. “ Nita would kill me if she found out,” I reminded myself.
“ Who would dare kill you?” CEO Asher's voice took me unawares and I flinched, jumping nearly two steps back. I didn't know when I had reached the front of his office.
“ Ah, no one,” I nearly stuttered. “ You scared me for a moment,” I mumbled clutching onto my chest.
“ I was beginning to wonder who would want to oppress my secretary,” he added. “ Also, you were standing in front of my door for so long. Did you want to give me some time?” He questioned.
“ Y-yes,” I didn't know why I would always stutter whenever I was nervous.
“ Then, come in,” he said opening the door wider and walking in, leading the way. I followed him in.
“ So?” He stared at me with a questioning look on his face as he sat down on his office chair.
“ Erm... I've sorted out the marketing files,” I said placing them on his desk. “ Also, you have a meeting to attend soon,” I informed him.
“All right,” he said flipping through the files. “ Have you confirmed that the meeting room is ready?”
“ Yes, sir. Everything is in place,”
“ Let's go,” he said getting to his feet. He didn't seem like how the news portrayed him. He did flirt once in a while but I was yet to see him with any girl. Maybe they were all factual?
“ You're lost... Again,” he snapped his fingers in front of my eyes.
“ Uhh, sorry,” I said in realization.
“ I've told you to stop apologizing and by the way, did you rush out of your house this morning?” He questioned out of the blue.
“ Well, sort of,” of course I wouldn't tell him that he had been haunting my mind since I woke up.
“ It's quite obvious,” he said pulling me by the waist close to himself.
“ W-what do y-you think you're doing?” I panicked.
“ Don't be so loud,” he said in a soft, low voice. Why did that sound weird? I felt his hands rest slightly against my breasts.
“ Are you seriously doing this? T-this is molested....,” I kept quiet when I realized that he was just helping me with my buttons, I had buttoned them wrong. Now, I can't believe I walked confidently from the ground floor to here with buttons like this. Someone should just kill me.
“ Are you done shouting?” He said removing his hands once he was done and my face and head smoked.
“ I'm sorry,” I bowed.
“ I couldn't let you walk around like that. We don't want a boob slip during the meeting, do we?” He smirked. “ I wouldn't mind if it was exclusively mine to see,” he added. As usual, he wouldn't miss the opportunity to flirt.
“ Am I late?” Johnathan barged in.
“ You really should learn how to knock,” CEO Asher twisted his lips. After just a few months of working here, I could already tell that CEO Asher and Johnai were pretty close.
“Sorry, I never found it necessary to,” he scratched his nape awkwardly. “ Let's go, sir. The meeting is about to start.”
It was lunchtime before all our meetings and work ended. I was exhausted, especially walking in heels. I walked into the office with CEO Asher, following him behind.
“ Cancel all my remaining appointments for the day,” he sat on the couch and instructed. I followed him there.
“ Not to question your choice but why the sudden change of plans? Did something important come up?” My curiosity grew.
“ Yes, a very good friend of mine is in the country and wants to spend time with me,” he briefed.
“ Ohh, that explains it,” I nodded my head. I wasn't going to pry anymore. “ I'll clear them all right away,”
I felt his hand pull me hard and I came crashing on his thighs, our eyes met and my heart fluttered. What did he think he was doing?
“ I'm sorry, sir. I-I must have fallen,” I smiled awkwardly trying to evade the situation and get up but his arm was wrapped firmly around my waist. “ Sir, what are you...” he placed his index finger against my lips.
We had our eyes locked for something that felt close to eons. Effortlessly, he repositioned me on his thighs. I sat on his thighs, now facing him directly, my legs spread apart and his thighs straddled in between.
“ You talk too much,” he said in a breathy voice as he pulled me closer, my breasts pressing against his chest. I could feel his minty fresh breath hit my face as our faces were just about an inch away. I gulped.
He smirked seeing my reaction to our closeness, “ Do you want to keep those spectacles on?” His voice sounded erotic, I could feel myself water down there just by how seductive he sounded. His hand gently slid itself underneath my skirt.
“ I don't...” he helped me take them off regardless. With his head tilted, I closed my eyes to receive those lush lips.
“ Hello, Asher!!” Someone barged in and I immediately flinched, preventing our lips from meeting. They had only gotten the chance to brush slightly against each other and just thinking about how lustful I was towards him made me worried. But what was on my mind was who would barge in like that?
“ Why are you here?” CEO Asher didn't seem surprised. He looked a bit annoyed that whoever that was ruined his plan. “ Didn't we already fix a venue?”
“ Ayy! I decided to go looking for you since it's been long. I didn't know you would be busy,” the handsome man looked at me and I immediately turned chili red. This was so embarrassing.
“ Ohh shut it,” he rolled his eyeballs. “ Amelia, this is the friend I was telling you of,” he introduced.
“ I'm Jason,” he smiled at me, giving me a friendly but childlike wave. I got up from CEO Asher's thighs.
“ I'm Amelia. I'm sorry for letting you see this,” I apologized again. What was I saying? I shouldn't even be doing this talk less of letting him see it.
“Why are you apologizing to this jerk?” He pointed at Jason.
“ W-well, that's because...”
“ There's no need to apologize,” Jason reassured me. “ Anyway, I'll be borrowing him for the meantime if you don't mind,” he beamed at me, revealing all his teeth.
“ I'll be off now. Don't stay too late,” CEO Asher sighed as he stood up from the chair. I watched as
